JillyIsJustKidding
Okay, I got mines yesterday...It won't fit on my friggen hookah!WARNING if you have a small egyptian hookah DONT get a diffuser for it!The big one is too big for the vase and the small one is too big for the stem! (That friggen metal ball thingy on the bottom is way too big for the small one) I'm sure that if I had a bigger hookah, it would fit :[ but I love my Egyptian sooo... ZenSilk
Use some epoxy to stick it on there.
Jshenrikson
there is a comment on the H-S website that someone actually sawed off the end of their stem and then it fit. haha

I know its stainless steel but I aint risking it lol
bigcam112
just cut a gash in the side of the rubber little grommet thing and force it on... i really like mine it im sure it will be well worth the effort when you get it done... one little mod i did tho was duct tape the top so that the bubbles would not leave from the top, only the basket... works soooo much better... best of luck to you! Jshenrikson
hmm, I'll have to try that duct tape plan. Can you tell what happens thats different than without it?

JillyIsJustKidding
I cut the plastic part and it fits if I force it. BUT, it doesn't fit through my vase :\
shisha fan
you can cut the metal bolt off the downstem, or just use some brute force.
Canon
i forced mine on, took about 10 minutes to get it on, but its worth it. it extends the stem a little bit, and does make more smoke, i dont know about making it smoother, i believe it would go better with milk in the base so that it doesnt agitate it as much. best part about it is you can take the head off. bigcam112
the holes up top on the rubber let the bubbles out straight up into the air... if you cover the top holes on the heba with duct tape the bubbles will stay in the water longer cooling and it will also come out in a lot more bubbles.. i really enjoy it like that give it a try and let me know how it goes.. its no permanent although im thinking about cloggin the holes with plastic cement... we'll see tho
ZenSilk
I wish there was a scientifically accurate diagram of how diffusers actually make the smoke better.. I've been trying to piece it togetehr in my mind..but it's hard. Isn't it all just smoke in the end? Making it into smaller bubbles doesn't seem like it would do anything but make the pull harder.. Canon
more smoke touches the water when it diffuses. meaning more of it gets cooled which leads to a cooler smokealso i believe the smoke picks up some water when it goes through leading to a more humid/smoother smoke. bigcam112
i usually fill water as high as my vase permits... ill fill it and then without hose suck on the port and if any water comes close to my mouth i pour it out and try again... this is the best way i have found.. if you know of something better holla at me
Jshenrikson
Yeah thats pretty much what I do. I've tried putting the heba diffuser about 5/6s of the way on and putting the water level a little tiny bit above the top of the diffuser, but it always seems to hit the chamber
bigcam112
well in that case it will prob benefit you to cover the top holes so that you can get a little less water in the vase
