Skybuzz? Al Qemah?

Recommended Posts

So, I went to my local hookah supply shop, and I saw this "brand new" brand called Skybuzz. Has anyone heard of it/tried it?
It looks exactly like the Starbuzz package and label...

And there was also this other brand, called Al Qemah. It comes in a really pretty purple box thing. Anyone tried it?

Al Qemah is like the Nahkla version of Al Fakhers line.

Its is alot stronger (possibly unwashed) and it takes a experienced smoker to be able to smoke it. I wouldnt say its premium though. I had the apple, nothing special. It was just stronger.

I have tried Al Qemah apple and strawberry flavors. The apple is different from most lines in that it has no anise in it. I was never a fan of apple flavors becoause of the licorice taste that comes with most of them. It is a very enjoyable smoke. As for Starbuzz and Skybuzz, I have tried both and like them equallly. The Flavors I have tried are: Guava, Strawberry Margarita, X on the Beach, Blackberry, Raspberry, Caramel Apple, Irish Creme, and Caramel. I first tried Starbuzz and thought it was very expensive but, loved it all the same and wanted to buy more. After reading a little about Skybuzz, I decided to give it a try. It was half the price of Starbuzz and I cannot tell a difference in a comparison test. The tobacco is golden and moist. The flavors are incredible. I went to Dearborn to get it. The store's name is Al Amir (located on Warren Rd near Greenfield). The guy that works there told me that the tobacco is from the same manufacturer as Starbuzz. The reason that it is less expensive is that Starbuzz has more than one owner and the tobacco comes from Jordan to California, then to Chicago. Each stop changing hands with someone else that will take a cut of the profit. The Skybuzz, on the other hand comes straight from Jordan into the hands of The store owner in Dearborn. There is no difference in the tobaccos in my opinion.There is only a difference in price. He did say that they made a mistake
by calling it Skybuzz. They are changing the name to Skyzzz (pronounced Skies).

I hope this helps anyone that is wondering about this product.

Al fakher is a washed tobacco and only contains 0.05% nicotine, on the other hand, al quemah (produced and sold by the same company) is not washed and contains 0.5% of nicotine.

Um they're not the same thing sorry. I bought a tin of Skybuzz before I knew what was up thinking it was Starbuzz and right on the tin in fine print it says AL AMIR. Shit's made by Al Amir and is definately not as good as SB, smokewise maybe since it's wet as hell, but flavor-wise definately not.

I've only tried one flavor but it was a major disappointment so just my opinion but it's definately made by Al Amir, that's a fact.
