I believe that the 'tobacco free' shisha is made using shredded sugar cane fibres. So the question i guess is - Is smoking shredded sugar cane fibre 'better'[1] than smoking tobacco? At least with tobacco you pritty much understand the associated risks.JD[1] as has been said many times before. Inhaling anything other than the normal air is not a good idea!
shisha fan
it`s better to stick to shisha made of tobacco, the other non-tobacco options (afzal and soex) taste like shit in my opinion, and like JD said, you`ll know the risks associated with tobocco smoking. EternalSoil
In my opinion, shisha tobacco, even though it is essentially the same thing used in cigarettes and other tobacco products is not nearly as bad. There is nothing but flavorings and some molasses and a little glycerin added (probably other stuff, ask sonthert). When smoking shisha, you dont burn the tobacco like a cigarette or cigar. its still intact, just really dry. this is because your smoking the flavorings and molasses. if you ask me, i probably have better health respiratory wise than people living in places with heavy smog like SF (sorry to anyone in that area). New2Hookah
Afzal does have nicotine in it. It\'s SOEX that doesn\'t.There is also that Black Label stuff from Hookah-Hookah. Not sure what that\'s made of though, never tried it...
