ZenSilk
SO i was smoking some Layalina and SB last night. As you all know, clouds with these two tobaccos are amazing. But not last night. And i think it was because of the weather. I mean, the clouds were OK, as in like... if you put 1/4 of an Exotica coal on and started up. but i had 3/4 on, and was getting not amazing smoke. I would flip the coals about every 3 minutes because the bottom of each one would lose it's heat and need to be sitting in the open air to get it's red-hotness back. So that was one factor. Could there have been any others relating to weather??
mobbed
im not sure what to say except use a wind cover all ive noticed with winter smoking is that when you exhale the smoke will rise fast as its alot warmer than the cold air

You could always jack it up in height a bit with some unlit coals or woodchips or something.
Get Crunk!
yeah, a wind cover seems to be the key factor in this...try it out and see if u get a better smoke. me and my bestfriend have to smoke outside in the winter as well lol
Patzke
Thats funny, i smoked in the rain the other day, and it had to be some of the biggest clouds I'd EVER had. It wasn't terribly cold. I think the humidity had to do something with it, cause the clouds would NOT disapear (like they usualy do.)Smoking in the summer and winter definetly are different and have their pro'z and con'z
amnite
I smoked Soex mint & orange next to the beach once at night and it was freezing outside, without any covers... the smoke was thicker than any SB ive ever had and the flavour taste lasted long... 1 session lasted 1 and half hours
ZenSilk
Nope, the windcover didnt do anything unfortunately. And the QL coals didn't even stay lit. What do you think of that? The Exoticas don't stay lit on the side heating the shisha. I tried the foil ring technique. That made it worse. I put my shisha in the microwave to warm it up, nothing. Ice in the base. Nothing. Used a Bambino and a Mya as well, nothing. Used 1/2 Exoticas, still the same. And now i've used all the brands i possess.Uggghhhhh. I'll try smoking in my room tonight. ZenSilk
Yep, Temp. is a HUGE factor. Wow. That's retarded. I just had the best session of my life. I've gotten used to cold-weather smoking, so when i went inside the clouds were just massive. I'll try to get the picture from my friends phone. Damn.
