A Bad Coal?

Recommended Posts

Have any of you ever had a bad coal?

I was lighing the first coal and maybe 2.5 minutes after getting the usual results, it seamed like the coal died. My bowl is pretty small so it usualy takes only one. Anyway instead of getting gray and ashy like usual, it kinda when flakey and black.

Did I just mess up lighing it, or was it maybe just a bad one?

P.S. It was a 3 Kings Quicklight

Possible. Have you tried lighting others from the same roll?

Yes, the others are fine, In fact I have it smoking fine right now with one from the same roll.

Chalk it up to a bad coal I guess. It's bound to happen. At least the rest of the roll is ok!
