NoPeace
Hey, i keep hearing about people who will smoke mint that is really strong and then they cant smoke fruit flavors with it anymore. I was wondering if double apple could be smoked in the same hose as one that smoked apricot and fruit flavors or is it too aniseed for fruit flavors. MechAnt
The general consensus is to keep two hoses. One for fruitier/lighter flavors while the second is for stronger flavors such as cappucino. I've never had a problem with mint sticking in a hose nor double apple but if you really want to be safe, then go with the multiple hose option. NoPeace
i actually just bought a new hose but im using it for parties so that there can be two hoses in my hookah. dont worry i also got a hose adaptor.
btuner
usually any coffee/cappuccino flavor will over power and infiltrate your hookah

PirateNinja415
i haven't had a problem w/coffee flavored shisha yet, but i've only smoked it once out of my hookah. Maybe it sets in after consistantly smoking it
JillyIsJustKidding
One that seriously destroyed my hose was Al Waha's After 9. I had to throw away my Egyptian hose right after that
btuner
well at the local lounge they have to use a separate hookah set aside for only smoking coffee flavors out of because its so strong
dcfc80
Wow I didn't even know that was possible. Are you talking about non washable hoses though? I wash my hoses after every use and I only smoke maybe 3 times a week now.
joseph*
Rose really sticks to hoses. I have never had a problem with double apple flavors. Now I just use washable hoses so its not really a problem.
Huskysibe
Mint will destroy a hose period! It happened to me very badly. I now have 2 hoses, 1 for fruit flavors and 1 for all the rest. As for Double Apple I am unsure as I have yet to find one that suits me. Billy

I had to throw away my Egyptian hose right after that quoted for truthi use a piece of vinyl tubing for a hose(not the prettiest, but god damn the pull is so much easier than any other hose i've ever used), so i don't get flavors stuck, since it's just completely washable(putting a hose in the dishwasher(no soap...) ftw), but when i had a real hose i got cappuccino stuck in there so bad...it was horrible. everything i smoked for 2 solid weeks tasted of assy cappuccino... likespaceships
I got a free washable hose from hookah-shisha when the nammors went out of stock. Its what I use for mint and coffee flavors. The hose hits real well and is easy to clean. It isn't the best looking hose but it gets the job done and it isn't very expensive.Try one as a good backup hose. Voski
My friends dad bought a hose and smoked double apple out of it and the hose is destroyed. Any flavor you smoke out of it tastes like double apple

Ohh yes, I agree, it is a very strong flavor in the hose and in the air. I actually have a hose that I use strictly for coffee flavors, so luckily it didn't taint my hose too bad. You definitely want to smoke this flavor with a washable hose, or a hose that is strictly for coffee flavors.
Woodsy
Wouldn't a good washable hose, say, a Nammor, be the solution to strong flavors staying in the hose?
KillZedKill
If you smoke the hose long enough, the old flavor WILL go away. I enjoy having odd aftertastes sometimes. =]
Scoop
not all the flavorings are water soluble...so just washing it with water will not always work
nicayotte
get washable it solves this issue..... just be sure to use lemon juice or vinegar and make sure it is all clear and smells decent before lighting it up again
Canon
i made the mistake of using a bad batch of AW cappichino on my hookah, it was a horrible taste (didnt start out that way, when it was light it was fine) when i finally got the flavor out it tasted like.. a rat (for those of you who have a pet rat you know what that smell is)i threw out the cappichino and for about 5 sessions after i was tasting it.
