Smoking Outside (during Winter)

How many guys here do it? either from living conditions or rules.

Recently my step-dad has found a way to piss me off, so he said I cant smoke in the house anymore so....I will have to smoke outside now until spring.

will he let you have a fire pit or something like that? would be nice to just sit out in some PJ pants next to a fire bowl type thing with a jacket on and smoke.

If he wont, make a tent out of a tarp and do it in there. make it really dumb looking so he gets mad about it.

I have a Gazeebo type thing in my backyard that has flaps to keep mosquitos out but smoking in my backyard will suck balls. Edited December 7, 2007 by Ooph

Being in temperatures below 40 degrees and smoking hookah will not lead to a good session. The coal goes dead on the part touching the foil very fast. and you are freezing too.

haha yeah! i could do it, but not everyday. And i have smoked in my living room a couple of times and my mom never knew. it doesn't stink up the place like cigarettes and crap like that. maybe you can make a deal saying you wont light coals inside cause thats the stinkiest thing is lighting coals.

Yeah this fucking sucks. Just got a new Hookah and I cant smoke inside my house anymore wtf.....and its not like im smoking it in the living room its in my own room.....the house doesnt even smell like smoke.

im telling you, if you have a smoking restraunt like dennys, ihop or waffle house go there and smoke (leave a good tip too) i went and smoked at dennys for 4 or so hours and left a 12 dollar tip because they didnt bug us, smoked 2 bowls and it was nice.

little trick though, prepack the bowls and dont use the ashtray to hold the coal (it WILL break)
use the bathroom to fill up the vase, make sure you bring a cup if the sinks too small
if you want ice, bring it yourself in the vase.
order food and have fun

Same with me. I just use a kerosene heater and heat it up before I smoke.

I smoke inside my apartment but we have a Hepa-filter running so you cant smell it afterwards. I've smoked outside at my friends who has a outdoor firepit it is quite relaxing make sure you have a windscreen though

lol, I'm not allowed to smoke in the house either, but I do it anyways, when my parents are gone. I guess that could be an option for you.

Get your own place. I guess thats not an option for everyone, but I would say that as long as your parents are paying the mortgage, its their rules. When you get your own house/apartment you can do what you like in it and they cannot stop you. When I had room mates who didn't want smoking inside, I used to smoke outside in all weather , even when it was below 30 degrees out. Just dress warm and its fine.

Now I live in an apartment by myself and its awesome, I smoke inside whenever I want.

damn man, u finally ended up like me and u know I smoke outside cause we was talkin bout that last time lol...do what u told me, get a big coat and a blanket haha...nah, but the big coat thing really does help

Summer has just started here in SA.
So I need not worry about conditions of smoking outside.
But the wind made more of a difference than the cold.
So invest in a wind cover, warm clothes and a pair of gloves.

Actually, invest in your own house. That'll always beat any amount of warm clothing you have on.

I have to smoke outside too. We have a back porch with some comfortable furniture, so it's not so bad. I like smoking outside better anyway. It does tend to get cold at night though.

Hell I love smoking on my back patio when its cold outside. Get all sweated up and just relax. But then again it doesn't get too cold here in Florida. Bring a few drinks out to warm you up if you're into that kind of thing.

You could always just smoke in the car. All you have to do is make one of those foil crown things you always see on hobohookahs so you don't need to worry about the coal. I just did it last night and it was fine. 5 people and smoke warm a car pretty good.
