djdriver88
1. Has to look good2. Has to be tall3. Single hose is fine, dont mind having more if the hookah will come with plugs4. Price limit=$80 shipped5. Style=anyBasically a college student, want something that will smoke well, and last a while (with proper cleaning of course)Here are the 2 I have in mind so far, any other suggestions welcome1. 22" Anwaar Egyptian2. 33" Egyptian LotusKinda leaning towards number 2 right now because its only a bit more money, but looks fantastic, and is bigger.Anyone recomend one of the 2, or any other good hookahs?? Thanks!
TheAlmightyClaw
Both of those seem like good pipes, and I am sure they will smoke fine. Although, to make your decision harder I would suggest a Kahlil Mamoun. I place that has a good selection of them is at https://www.pimpyourhookah.com/index.php?op...1&Itemid=26 (Although I have heard mixed reviews from there website). Have fun shopping for a great hookah (I suggest getting a phunnel bowl and natural coals as soon as you can).

UGAHookah
I agree with gaia. The Lotus is a lot better looking especially the vase.

KillZedKill
A while back I ordered the larger form of that Anwaar hookah. I received it in terrible condition, paint missing from the base, just not a good looking hookah in person.
RayVer
I could recommend the jandr syrians simply from everything postive I have read about them. Everyone seems to really like them. I'm actually getting my own jandr syrian in the mail in a few days. It's also in your price range

thecoalition
do not limit yourself in price when it comes to a hookah. you will regret it i promise. i highly suggest going to southsmoke.com and getting the mya frost.i use that with a tangiers phunnel bowl and i just ordered one of the nammor hoses. I consider it a perfect setup. and it pays for itself when friends chip in money to smoke your stuff because your hookah is better.

joseph*
The glyph is a great hookah, one of the best. I would highly recommend it, although MYAs are great as well. Tough decision.
ZenSilk
one thing to say. If your budget is about 70 bucks for the actual hookah, go with a KM or a Magdy Zidan. Or, check out Furathookahs.com.Oh,, and dont get a Syrian from H-S. Save your money. Edited December 9, 2007 by ZenSilk

ZenSilk
Ohh, well if it's a Mya, they all perform the same, 23" and up. It's just the glass you need to worry about. Haha, so i guess your budget got a boost?

ZenSilk
Ugh, that's a complicated question. For 100 dollars shipped, you aren't gonna find a nice mya. Myas generally range from 110-160 dollars, for the nice models, the pretty ones. But anyway, - Mod hookahs are just newer style hookahs, all have auto-seal usually, threaded stems and such. - Mya are Chinese made, not by hand, but function well. - Egyptian are traditional and hand-made, best in 1 hose models. - Syrian are hand made or machine made, depending on where you buy. They are usually brass (except H-S), and very durable, more on the expensive side though. Social smoke Syrian are in the 100 dollar price range.
