Tim Tebow won the Heisman. Do you think the voters got it right or did someone else deserve it? Also, anyone foresee any huge bowl game upsets??

I can definitely see some huge upsets, thats what this whole season has been filled with so far. Illinois beating Ohio St., Arkansas upsets LSU. I can't wait for the bowl games. I would have really liked to see Colt Brennan or Darren McFadden win, instead of Tebow. Tebow definitely is an amazing player though...

Tebow is good but heres my thing. Everyone raves about his high # of rushing touchdowns, but how many of those were from within the 5 yard line? Its easy to score when the coach calls your # 3 times in a row on the goal line. Colt Brennan has broken so many QB records and his completion % is 70!! He should have gotten it. But I could make a good case for Mcfadden too... If Hawaii's schedule is the reason Colt didnt get it then florida's 6-3 record should be the reason Tebow didnt get it. As for upsets I see Arkansas over Missouri and Auburn over Clemson. LSU will beat Ohio State easily thats no upset.

I was kind of suprised Tebow got it. I was honestly going for McFadden. That guy has been an weapon for Arkansas. He was runner-up last year as well I believe. If McFadden plays another season like this one I could see McFadden taking it. Who wouldn't let the guy take it for being runner up two years in a row. As for Brennan, he led Hawaii to a perfect season and his stats are incredible, but most of their games weren't really against tough football teams. And to be honest I never really followed Missouri. But seeing Tebow win it as a sophomore was pretty impressive. It puts him up there with Danny Wuerffel who I used to watch back in the day. I even had a poster of him on my wall haha. Just wait for Matt Grothe to get in there next year.

As for Bowl Games.

Games I am definitely going to watch:
USF over Oregon (This will be a good game. Gotta go for my school!)
LSU over Ohio St. (LSU is going to stomp Ohio St. just like Florida last year)
Florida over Michigan (Redemption from that Outback bowl a few years back)
Georgia over Hawaii (Hawaii won't be able to handle an SEC team)
Arkansas over Missouri (One word. McFadden)

As for USF and Matt Grothe, boy they looked great at the beginning of the season. I think they are going to Win their bowl for sure, without Dixon Oregon doesnt stand a chance against USF.

Lets hope so. I have faith in USF's defense keeping Oregon's offense in check. But it all comes down to our offense clicking and getting points on the board. No hot dog moves by Grothe. Lord let him throw the ball away once and a while.

I think Tebow should have won it but Kevin Smith deserves a lot more attention than he is getting.

As far as bowl upsets I would not be suprised if the Big 10 did not win a single bowl game this year. Other than that with the way this year is going I would except quiet a few of the mid-majors to win or play close when matched up against BCS schools.

Kevin Smith is a Rushing machine and he should have gotten a New York invite true. But the voters will never UCF enough credit until they come out with a signature win.

Heres my picks for the BCS

Champ - LSU over Ohio
Sugar - Georgia over Hawaii (gotta go with my school)
Orange -VT over Kansas (no brainer)
Fiesta - Oklahoma over West Virginia (WV without pat white = losing football games)
Rose - USC over Illinois (Frankly this just isnt fair to Illinois)

Thats what I meant its just going to be a slaughter and its a poor matchup since USC is going to kill them. ASU plays Texas I'm sure they'll pull that one out. I also found out we are playing ASU as our out of conference match up next year, should be a good game.

I'm definitely going to have to disagree. Even though I'm from Arizona, and def. have a bias toward ASU (from Tucson), they had a good season, but didn't look that great toward the end of the season. I think the Rose bowl as is should be a pretty good game. And hopefully for Hawaii, although they didn't have the hardest schedule, they can pull it off. We all saw Boise St. do it last year. I'm just happy that not as popular/huge conferences are getting some recognition now, that they deserve. Anywho, I can wait for all 32 bowl games.
Also, being a big PAC-10 fan, I feel very bad for Oregon (Dennis Dixon), that their season was pretty much finished during the U of A game when he went out for the season. He seems like such a well rounded athlete, football and baseball with a respectable GPA.

I don't think the Illinois USC game is going to be a blow out. I wouldn't be suprised if Illinois pulls an upset there. Look what they did to Ohio State.
