I believe oolatec on here has one and he likes it alot.

Indeed I do and I love it! Check the gallery where I posted a pic. I have a review in the review section as well with a few more pics.

The only thing that may be an issue is the ash tray. It's non removable, and a bit small... but still functions just fine. Honestly, I don't smoke out of it much anymore because I am always afraid of tipping it over (crap happens) and breaking the marble. But it does smoke wonderfully, and it's even more gorgeous in person. If you aren't worried about tipping it over, then I'd say go for it! It's a great pipe, and Social Smoke is top notch!

No , af hookahs are mostly egyptian with only exception of the mid part of the stem which could be considered lebanese (straighter lines). Those AF hookahs are best quality authentic products, smoked out of them at a local lounge and are really top-notch.
I'd still recomend a syrian tho, a specialy the JandR ones. They are probably the best out there.

Umm, i would go with the SocialSmoke Syrian. They are gorgeous and all hand-cut brass. Pretty nifty. And very well priced. SO you dont gotta spend 150-160 bucks total on a Syrian Hookah. You can get some nice Sb or AF shisha.

I am going to have to agree with Zen here. SocoalSmoke is alittle cheaper and comes with more accessories and still a very well made piece.

I'll say it again, don't get a Syrian from H-S when you can get a hand-made one from SocialSmoke that performs better.
(didnt even say the word brass [well until now...])

Brass and SS each have advantages and disadvantages... primarily that while brass oxidizes more easily, it will not oxidize as severely as SS.

As to which company to buy from, it comes down to personal preference.
