Af Apricot

Recommended Posts

Whats the production date? usually AF prints the prod. date ont he side of the box. If you can return it easily, that would be the best choice, becuase all the AF mussel is usually red and dippy and thats what makes it last for so damn long.
I ordered a sample of AF apricot my self, am expecting it mid of this week. I ll write a review to let you know how it smokes

Cheers

the production date was jan 2007. however it was not nearly as wet as either the mixed fruit or the plum.

no name jan. (january). its a 50g sample. the plum is so so. not much flavor but in general i dont get much flavor from hookah honestly. i have real trouble witht hat. i dont know what im doing wrong. but back on topic, it was produced in january of 2007 and when i opened it it was dry and crumbly. I tried smoking it and it lasted like 10 min. I sent them an email eplaining it and hopefully i can send it back and get a deal or something to make up for it. I was sooo excited to try this flavor and it was kinda a downer.

Was the box xtained? Is there a hole in the little bag the shisha comes in? And damn, that's almost a year old bro. If it was a respectable company they will send you another 50 grams (hell it's only 50 grams.. wink.gif ), by respectable i mean some place like H-S.com, along those lines. If it's dry and crumbly... it probably means the package was not air-tight, and there could be some nasty germs that got in there after packaging.

Ohh damn good choice of vendors BTW, and i'm very very very very very very very very very confident they will make it right. I know they would for me... I recently just got like 6 extra grommets cause they sent the worng ones, but now i have TONS of extras, AND they sent me a Bambino Vase grommet free of charge with the right new grommets. They are pretty amazing.

im not buying from there anymore. i talked to a guy on their online chat and they are like "oh well we dont take refunds on open shisha" so you are just gonna have to put up with it because thats the way AF is and i was like "well the other flavors are wet and juicy and this one is literally crumbling and dry" and hes like "oh well". if thats the way they are gonna handle it then i would rather buy it from someone else. their prices are insane anyways.

yea but they wont do that. they are a business. i mean i would really appreciate that but w/e. i have to go with what they give me. if anyone else has more say towards that company that i do then could they say something because that was my first purchase so i seriously doubt they give a shit about me.

Don't be so quick to be angry or blame HS. That batch must be muffed or something, no way it's the fault of HS. Shisha is good for two years from the production date, I've bought AF locally that was made June 2006 and it still smoked great and was dripping wet. Next time you order from HS and get the AF Apricot, you will not be disappointed. It's one of the sweetest (but not saccharine) flavors I've had. Mix it with a blackberry and it is AMAZING.

im not being fast to judge them. im aware that it is not their fault. however, it is not my fault that the shisha was dry and since i purchased it, i should naturally, like an other customer, expect to get great shisha. even thought it is not their fault, it is still their responsibility as the distributor to take responsibility. For example, if i bought a 200 dollar hookah and when it arrived, the base and the stem were broken, it might not have been the distributors fault, but they are still liable for the damages since the consumer purchased the item from them. the distributor guarentees when the transaction is made that the hookah would arrive undamaged and in mint condition and if it is not then the distributor must take responsibility for the damages or receive money from the shipping company (if it is their fault) to cover a new hookah for the consumer. I appreciate the offer that they gave me but i most likely will be purchasing form their in the future simply because of the selection.
