Mini vs Regular Hookahs

Hi Everyone,
I would like everyone's opinion on this.  My friends and I constantly discuss and of course test this theory:
[b]If you want a prolonged, less harsh smoking experience, use a mini or small hookah; if you want flavour use a regular hookah[/b]
Now as of late, we have been finding that this theory is falling apart! i.e., we are getting more flavour from our shisha with the mini hookahs and longer times with our regular hookahs.
My question is this...what is better for you? mini hookahs or regular hookah and why?

as far as my little understanding goes. the bigger hookahs cool the smoke down more, over the mini hookah's. so what i do is just use ice water and ice and i guess it even it self out.

I don't know about more smoke vs. lots of flavor,  but what I DO know is that BIG hookahs are a pain in the neck to clean.

I'm using a small Sultan hookah,  with 2 piggy-backed Golden
Coals,  and it gets the job done just fine.  Lot's of Smoke
and Flavor with 2 Golden Coals

i would rather have a regular hookah because of the bigger chamber and
base, which cools and filters more. I would recommend a med- large
hookah.

mini hookahs put out alot more flavor, hands down. (we are talking palm
size, 6 inches tall) but suffer in smoke staying power while your
inhaling. What i mean is that you can very quickly go from thick smoke
to uber harsh smoke with a mini than you can with a larger hookah.
Mini's are awesome because they are quicker to clean and alot more
manuverable than a 34" monster.

I personally plan on getting a mini hookah when space and time is an
issue, and using my full size for more social reasons, or to make my
smoking session last longer.
