Flavored Base Liquids.

I'm relatively new to hookah, and this site, been smoking about 3 months now.
Of course I've tried wine bases with flavors like rose and jasmine and that always came out wonderful, but I was wondering about other liquids.

A couple of friends and I made a water/ice pipe out of metal tubing bought from a hardware store and regularly use orange and grape sodas in it along with ice to enhance our smoke, I was wondering if anyone has tried this with their hookah..

For example: Would putting 1/2 coke 1/2 water in my base enhance the cola flavor of my AF mollasas? Or would it just end up being a sticky mess I'm going to regrett.



If i'm given the go-ahead I'm going to try it in an hour or two, if nobody has any experiances I'll try it anyway and report back on how it went.

I think it would work, and if you want to do a search I am sure you will find many posts that discuss using different liquids in the base.

Adding liquid is a common thing for us to do. In fact, under the review section, there are a bunch of previously tried experiments.

As for the coke mix, I would dumb down the mixture and maybe use 1/3 coke, not 1/2.... A little will go a long way, suprisingly

Before using soda or any other carbonated beverage, make sure it's flat. Smoking bubbly soda is no fun. Sunny Delight is fantastic in the base with very tropical flavors as well, try it!

i've heard wine in the base was really nice. I have yet to try it, but it's on my things to do over winter break

Get a shot of hookah-hookah rose and use it with a 1/2 red wine 1/2 water base, it's WONDERFUL.
