Coal Stove?

Recommended Posts

I've used the gas one at the top, worked ok. The top isn't really designed to hold coals properly, but would work fine for smoking someplace yu can't plug in and dont want to use a quicklight. The bottom burner is perfect if you have access to power, but it's about twice what it would cost at a drug store and getting it at a thrift store/junk shop/flea market will save you money on BOTH those stoves.

Yeah, I think ill go with the 13$ tbh, we have a heavy duty torch at my friends house for when we smoke outdoors, one of those plumber ones, lights a coal in a second lol, but for my personal at home use, i have the ceramic top stoves and Im just tired of crappy lighters and small torch lighters.

SO yeah, thanks for the info about target and what not, rather spend 13$ rather than 40$,

Yeah get an electric stove, I just got one, works like a charm. Make sure you don't get the plate one but the one with the coils. My target and wallmart didn't have one so I had to order one off Amazon.

Does the plate one not work the same way/ not get hot enough or something?
I dunno, I would just think it would still do the job...

I bought the one mentioned in the topic with the propane and the propane doesn't last long for a hookah addict. It really works good for getting them lit quickly but once you run out you have to buy special propane bottles... could get to be expensive... I found an old coil and hooked an outlet cord to it and use that.... takes longer to get the coal heated up but it also doesn't cost anything but pennies to run.
