Geiseric
Damn cheap quicklites. I was using some dodo qls because it is all the local shop sells, and my latest package hasn't come in yet. I got co poisoning so bad that I can't stand. To the point that I fell over and literally had to pull myself back onto the couch with my arms. I loaded up on water, but from previous experience its lasts anywhere from 3 hours to a whole night. Vision is all blurred, and my hearing is very impaired. I don't have a bad headache, luckily, just feel like I am surrounded my fog that is slowly forcing its way into my brain.God, I hate CO poisoning. Now I can't smoke anymore tonight. Had some delicious Nahkla Lemon (the only Nahkla I like, all of the other fruit flavors taste fake or soapy to me) too.

Geiseric
Meh, I've had it way worse back in my high school days. I just haven't had it this bad in a long time, because I use coals that aren't filled with epic failure. And yes, I saw your post right away, and it took me all 10 minutes to respond. Shiiiiiiiit. UGAHookah
The symptoms you described sound awful like me on my 21st. That never happens to me with quicklites maybe you should have the doctor look into it, wouldnt want anything serious to happen to you. Hope things get better quick. erufiku
Did you light the coal inside?
Geiseric
Yeah, I know, doesn't help. We keep the windows open, but it doesn't stop a little of it from getting in the lungs. I am fairly certain it is CO poisoning, I have had it quite a few times (don't ask, misspent youth.). Some people are just more susceptible than others, I have a friend that can't even smoke qls at all, he vomits.

Geiseric
Burning charcoal emits CO. Shitty qls emit more. REALLY shitty qls make this happen. Its gone now, BTW, now I just have a killer migraine. Ugh.CO isn't just a bad effect of starting up qls, CO comes from the combustion of anything carbon based. Qls put out a lot more than naturals, because they have starter mixed in, and that doesn't fade completely after the initial light, as it is mixed evenly throughout the coal (at least, to my understanding). As such, the intensity of CO is much higher in qls, but it is feasibly possible to get CO poisoning off of any coal. SmokingDjinn
Weird that sucks man. It'd be cool if they made coals that emitted nitrous oxide, so at least you would not feel crappy.
Cybersist
but then the coals might explode! lol....CO poisoning is pretty sucky, but it happens to the lot of us
