mathuv
OK so I've narrowed my hookah choice down to 2 options. Im going to buy off hookah-shisha.com. Which should i get, the QT or the Mini (acrylic) ? Please post your opinions/experiences
SmokingDjinn
Well, I like the QT personally. Glass is just much more impressive than acrylic. It feels sturdy in your hand and looks better.
billy
Well...theres base problems with the QT, people saying it has really thin glass and could break easy but I dont know anything else about the Mini.
Kathrynx
The glass really isn't all that thin, I have one, and I get a really good amount of smoke out of it. I'm not a fan of the acrylic at all.
samildanach
+1 for the Qt, but you already know my opinion..lol
PirateNinja415
add another to the qt. I get really great smoke out of it, and haven't had a problem with the thin glass at all

Christama
I just got my Acrylic mini. It smoke pretty well, but I think I will soon be upgrading.
Jeff_T
I'd def. go with the QT. Although people say the base seems thin, I actually think mine seems kinda thick. I throw mine in the freezer a lot and no problems. It once fell when I was putting everything away, about 3ft., onto tile floor and nothing... anywho, gets my vote. ZenSilk
Umm, if you want a standard hookah get an Acrylic. If you wnt a mini hookah, get a Bambino. I can actually sell you one of each of those for less than any price online, if you want.
poopooshaboo
The acrylic is one of the more solid hookahs out there. There's a reason so many bars use them. Although most people who already have QTs say the glass is fine, MYA just switched their glass manufacturer recently, which has led to the reported problems. So, even if many people here's QTs are fine, that doesn't mean yours will be. I'd say go with the acrylic. It's much more versatile, and can be upgraded further should you decide. Also although it isn't the prettiest, the acrylic looks fine and it allows you to not have to be super careful with your hookah, which is nice. Elky
I'd go with the acrylic, its sturdy and has the good old height factor, plus I think they look better. Also you can always get a glass vase later.

EternalSoil
I think the problem with MYA's glass was temporary when they switched companies but it has been fixed cause it was with some QT's and alot of there newer style of bases like th Vortex and the Chic but my Chic that i got a while back is solid and i haven't heard anybody who has recently purchased a newer MYA have any problems. shisha fan
i would go for a full size mya acrylic, because a lot of people find the small one to be unstable. i like the qt but the bases are thin on the new ones.

My biggest concern regarding the QT is the glass being broken in transit :/
EternalSoil
if its broken in transit the shipper should replace it no questions...
