I guess what I am trying to say is that Windows is more likely to get infected. People do not worry about us Linux users because it is very hard to hack. I am not sure about MAC, but I would sat the same thing that it is a better OS. Mind you that I probably will always have a Windows computer just for the fact of certain programs I use and for gaming.

I've been here a long time and I've never had a problem. Was it a legit warning or one of those things that makes you think you have an infected computer so yu'll get their removal software?

I musta missed that whole thing somehow JD. when was this?

Way way way way way way back.

I read in the old old old posts. Not even sure they still exist. It was before the big upgrade.

looks like a legit avast warning however; it looks like the malware is trying to mask itself and say that its the site. cause there is no www and it just looks weird.... it probably came out of hiding and decided its name was going to be "http://hookahforum.com"

+1 FTW! I heart my mac. The reason they don't get viruses is becaus the purpose of a virus is to effect as many computers as possible. more people have windoze, therefore viruses are written for and targeted at the majority of computers out there, windoze

LOL at you Mac people. Supporting the company that produces complete crap for products. Mac, the computer built for people who can not figure out how to use an actual pc.

+1

and +1 for Linux, I'm dual booting as we speak, and i LOVE having the best of both sides, I.E. Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux 7.1
