i spend most of my money on hookah and computer shit but i have a 42" Hitachi Plasma, a Pioneer 1080p upconverter (waiting till bluray and hd dvd war ends) and a Harmony 880 remote. Once I move into a bigger apartment I will be getting a klipsch 5.1 system with the 12" woofer. Also plan on getting a 360 after tax season (but its a toss up between that and yet another tattoo)

For my Dell XPS 400 I have the Logitech wireless rear speakers 5.1 surround sound that is THX and DTS certified. I kicks some butt and really rumbles the house!, but I don't think as much as Klipsch or Polk would be. I have a 20" wide Flat Screen Monitor. I know it is nothing huge but it is very watchable. I spent close to $3000 for my system.



I just added up how much I spent on Hookah stuff since Nov. 1st till today. It came to $359.42

so... my mom and i bought my dad an lcd tv for christmas.. its nothing spectacular but its enough for us.

now, im planning on getting a new dvd player but im not sure if i should get HD DVD or BluRay. the future market only has room for one of these formats so i dont want to buy the one that will be going extinct in a few years (much like the Beta and VHS war a couple decades ago). any suggestions?

looks like im getting a blu-ray dvd player. theres a samsung outlet near my house and they have the bp-p1000 on sale for $220 until december 29th.

that`s a first generation model, you might want to wait a little because the standard wasn`t completely finalised when that model was released. i think there was a problem with some BD titles and that player.
