Doubon
Hey i just finished searching for some advice on making layalina sessions great and i came up with nothing. Can you all list some things yotu do to make the sessions great? Is there a different strategy between flavors ( I have jasmine and peach)? Geiseric
There is no hope. Layalina devotees are trippin, it sucks. I have yet to have a decent batch of the stuff.
Cybersist
I may be tripping balls, but Layalina is my baby. As for tips and tricks. I am constantly playing with coal position and quantity to tweak the smoking. That and I tend to use the foil-ring-foil technique if all else fails. And super small holes, and many of them! shisha fan
i have layalina watermelon and it smokes fantastic out of a tangiers phunnel bowl, lots of flavor and thick clouds. i didn`t loosen the tobacco and just put it in the bowl, that always works the best for me. iamscott06
I'v bought like 4 250g of Layalina and its all been pretty juicy, can't really complain. I smoke mine out of the phunnel with and without mod. Works pretty darn good
NoPeace
yo continueing on this topic are there any tips for AF smokes?
Bulldog_916
I LOVE Layalina, I smoked raspberry and it gives a full, awesome berry flavor every time. Use a regular Egyptian bowl, pack it like you would any other tobacco. OH SO JUICY! I need to go out and smoke now but it's cold outside.

ASUSEAN1
ive had every flavor, most are pretty solid.. just leave some space between the foil and tobacco.. i have some tips how to pack it and out the coals in the FAQ page
Geiseric
None of you have an issue with the syrup dripping off and leaving behind a shitty taste? To be fair, I haven't ever smoked it in a funnel... I don't usually smoke those kind of flavors anymore, anyways. Tangiers, AW and AF coffee varients, and some Nahkla is all I smoke now. PirateNinja415
i used to smoke layalina b4 i discovered AF. I noticed that it takes a bit more heat than AF. I a ful row row of an exotica coal (broken up into thirds) to get clouds of smoke instead of 2/3 for AF. they make a nice cola and jasmine flavor (only 2 i've tried)

Every brand i smoke pretty much only uses 2 1/3'rds of an exotica.. and when i use my reg clay bowl i break the coals up into 1/4's and use 2 of them. Johnny_D
On the funnel i would normally use 2 1/4 per session - a whole stick for a 2hr go.Normal bowl much the same.JD

It's weird, b/c i'd lay 2/3 of an exotica on there, and it wouldn't get that much smoke, so i put another third on and it did the trick Edited December 17, 2007 by PirateNinja415

When i first put my coals on i put a foil windcover around the bowl for like 5-10 minutes and start puffing, after each hit i notice more and more smoke. Once my base if full of white smoke i take the windcover off and smoke away.
