cypress
In order to make this on-topic I must ask it this way.... How much are yall are paying for gas to go get your hookah suplies? Over here in Houston the cheapest I saw this morning was 2.57 and the most expensive was 3.31 yesterday. I guess I might have to stick with companies that offer free shipping after a certain amount purchased.
brother812
$2.99 for regular up here in Pennsylvania. even though mopeds are like fat girls, fun to ride as long as nobody sees you, they are looking better every day.

Lakemonster
Oh man! Sounds like something that happened in Phoenix a year ore two ago... They had a big shortage and there were some people selling Jerry Cans full for $80... Ask this yourself this. Did you get a .30 to .50 cent raise yesterday? Cuz "they" sure the hell did. Fedex and UPS gonna have to charge more at some point to get my Tobak here.
Sariél
My local "cheap" station was $2.72 on tuesday morning, $2.83 tuesday night, and $2.89 on wednesday night. I haven't been by there today, but I'm expecting $3 by the weekend. Other stations are $2.95 to $3.09. Since I drive a 57 mile round trip to my faavorite hookah shop (1 block away from one of my client's studio), I'm feeling it. My jeep needs a tuneup and is only getting 16/16 mpg lateley. I've started charging $0.25/mile, and am taking as much work home with me as possible. I've set up my workbench with a hookah, using a microphone boom stand to hold the hose. That way It frees both hands for work, and I can smioke while on the clock!
Soup
just checked the gas prices when I was out an hour ago...$1.188/L!!! I'll let you do the conversion on that.
jmexx
You think it's hardcore for you Soup? Here in Montreal it's 1.34 for regular... I'll be nice enough to try and do the conversion for you! So for 1 galon it's 3.7854118 litres. If you do the math that means we're technically paying 5$ a gallon Canadian. If you want to take that to the next leve, technically we're paying 4.21$ USNow how retarded is that? And to think I still put premium...Jon
Soup
I always laugh at the americans saying that they're paying lots for gas, and indeed it is quite a large sum, but they are paying like $.95/L (CDN)...I WOULD KILL FOR $.95/L!!!
mushrat
As of 11 pm heere in raleigh, nc it was $3.29 a gallon. I remember living on st. thomas in the usvi '79 - '84 and remember paying .44/L.

MR Bubble
I saw regular going for $2.7-something on the way home tonight. They just errected the ladder under the sign and left it. So tomorrow AM it will probably be higher. That price doesn't seem too bad, but this area of the woods (west central Louisiana) is a dirt-poor area. The Soldiers on Fort Polk keep this town alive. Soup
I heard that by winter gas is gonna be $2.00/L in Canada...IN WINTER!!! THE TIME WE NEED IT MOST!!! And yes, it does get stereotypically cold up here.

jmexx
I just heard that the Canadian Gouvernment is going to scrape some money in the oil reserve fund (it's about damn time) to help us out with this retarded price. NEW PRICE! 1.47/L CND! Let me do the translation... In US dollars it would come to 4.69/Gallon US. How retarded is that? Yeah I know, it's crazy. You guys hit 3 dollars?! Grrr... I wish we were at 3 bucks US a gallon...and we have Alberta, one of the oil-rich places out there. Whatever, this is upsetting.Jon
Soup
If we can process the Alberta Oil Sands, the price of oil would drop to $30(USD) a barrel. Paul Martin was in Saskatoon briefly today or yesterday and in an interview he said that the only way to lower gas prices in Canada is to boost production. Makes sense seeing as how Canada has no strategic oil reserves because we export most of our oil.
jmexx
That's another annoying thought, so much of our oil is sent to our neighbours, what about us? It's just annoying. I don't have much against the general American public, it's just the gouvernment isn't thinking about its own people...it's horrible.PS- I just bought some Nahkla Cola, I guess one of their premium flavours because it was quite juicy. What a great fresh flavour, call me crazy bt it's one of my favourite Nahkla flavours!Jon
mushrat
Jmexx: we here in the US export most of our domestic oil and turn around and import a lot of the oil we actually use. go figure. I suspect this is going to cost the present administration and thier political party dearly. Never a dull moment. I've head some good things about cola flavours. Someone once wrote you could almost taste the carbonation.
