Help me find my next hookah

Recommended Posts

Within the next couple of days I am going to buy a new hookah. The current hookah that I have is called the natural. This was the first hookah I purchased and while I am over all happy with it's performance I believe the stem design interferes somewhat. What I go to the hookah bar down town, I will smoke a bowl and then when I want another bowl they simple walk over and stick it on. Not so with my hookah, I have to pour water down the stem after every bowl inorder to get good performance during the next round... otherwise it's very tight pulls and no smoke at all - and only because the stem is loaded with junk.
So - I am asking you for your help on buying a new hookah. Here is what I am looking for-30" tall atleast-Straight Stem-Unique Design of base - I dont want something to simple.-under 200.00 dollars.-No more then two hoses (if you all reccomend hookahs with more then 1 hose)
Like I said, I want to spend no more then 200.00 on the hookah and I would like that ammount to include shipping if possible. Also, I am planning on buying several new typles of MA'ASSELL, so while I know there are lots of reviews on here, I would like to buy from a site (like hookahhookah or hookah-shisha) that makes there own top quality flavors. If you have any final reviews on this post it here also.
-I am looking for lots of smoke and lots of flavor

Thanks for your help

I sure hope you don't plan on dumping your first hookah. I definately
agree with your decision on buying a new one, but your old one can very
much still be in good working order.

Did you ever clean the stem? Not just with water but using one of those
thin, long narrow brushes with real stiff brissles. I know that if I
don't clean my hookahs stem for over a month, I will get a significant
build up of gunk in the stem. It got so bad at one point that not even
the brush could get it clean. I filled up my laundry room sink which is
real deep with super hot soapy water and let the stem soak in there for
a good hour. After that the stem was imaculate.

So give it a try. Then maybe you can have two hookahs in fine working condition. Nice for when you entertain ;)

And to get a little more back on topic... With 200 dollars to spend,
you could get a really damn nice hookah for that price. Me personally,
I would find a solid hookah that ranges from 100-120. You can get a
superb quality hookah for that price, and use that leftover 100-80
bucks on your ma'assel.

So don't think a good hookah can only be found for 200 :)

Holy crap, I guess it would pay for me to take a look at the link you
posted showing your previous hookah... I guess a brush won't help you
out there huh?

In that case, a buddy of mine has the same hookah as yours but with the
dragon design, from that exact site. What he does is goes to his local
head shop and buys a solution you mix up and run it through your stem.
Its made for cleaning out bongs/pipes, but also works well for hookahs.

Sorry for the mixup, but still best wishes ;)

I bought the Syrian Glyph 3 hose hookah with Auto-Seal from
Hookah-Shisha,  and it was the best hookah I ever owned.  It
was 30",  and I believe they were selling it at the time for
$140,  with accessories.  If you buy a hookah
now, Hookah-Shisha is offering Free Shipping,  and 25%
of the profits will go to the American Red Cross to aid  Katrina
Victims.

You really can't beat that deal,  if what you're looking for is
something unique and VERY beautiful in design.  I bought the Gold
Stem on Green Vase and to put it simply,  IT WAS A WORK OF
ART!!!

Hi steviethepope, many of the sites mentioned above sell good hookahs
which have worked well for most of the members on this forum, but my
personal suggestion would be to check out Mya Saray www.myasaray.com -
imho they have the best hookahs in terms of overall performance and
appearance. They look fantastic, vary to suit all price ranges, and are
professionally built. From personal experience they are sturdy,
reliable, and unlike many other companies people have purchased from ,
you will usually not find any faults or problems with them. Just my
thought on the issue.

Nice choice.  I've been looking for a hookah for a long time and I came up with the Abyss hookah from hookah-shisha.  But after looking around for something a little more unique, hookahhookah is probably gonna be the place I'll get mine from.
One more time...nice choice

Thank you - I was really looking at the syrian chiller from hookah-shisha and I was really tempted to buy it once they offered the free shipping deal  but, I decided that the mist is a bit more classy looking and will fit well with the rest of the setup in my condo.
Yeah,  really nice choice man,  I love that base.  Though,  I'd like it better in green
:)Despite your reviews though I got some Jamacian Rum so we'll see how that turns out. I also got pina colada and mango which the guy I spoke to said those were his favorites so we shall see

For the Jamaican Rum,  I would suggest mixing one part water to
one part spiced rum in the vase.  It's a pretty lame flavor,
and I told Jonothan that too

Seriously,  I hope you like it.....I didn't,  but that's just my opinion.

Mango tastes a LITTLE like Mango,  very smooth smoke,  but not one that I would buy again.

Pina Colada is AWESOME!!!

I suggest using two quick-light coals if you got em'.  I'm using 2
Golden Coals for the Pina Colada,  and I get TONS of smoke and
flavor
