Loading The Phunnel

Anyone who owns a phunnel knows how hard it is to load it without shisha falling down the hole. I found a quick solution to the problem:

This is my wife showing that this gel cap fits perfectly inside the hole. Soex is especially hard to load without this method.

What other tricks of the trade does anyone have for the phunnel?

i usually just place a finger on my left hand over the hole...keeps the bowl steady while i'm packing, allows for easy rotation of the bowl, and keeps ish from falling down the hole.

Yea i just hold my phunnel over my tub of shisha and then take fingers full of shisha and spread it in, then i clean my fingers off

Me too! let if fall back in the tub. then wash fingers off!

looks like everyone else doesn't really mind a mess. i don't mind a mess much either, i'd just prefer to not make one in the first place. and this method seems to work great. the pen cap that fits the phunnel perfectly is the "Inc" brand "Magna Tank" gel ink pen. mine's a 0.5 mm.
