I know some of the members here are currently Serving, and i believe some have actually shiiped out and been Overseas.
I would just like to know, what are your (the above stated) views on the "War" on Iraq, or the mIddle East Confilct in general.

My interest sparked when i was talking to one of my very good friend's older brother, who has been over there 4 times.

ABout Iraq from people who have experienced it.

Because I've only heard one Marine ever say that he didn't support it and was just in it for college. The rest were all Pro kill everything.

Does this surprise you? The military systems of all human civilizations are designed to negate identity and conscience, and to rape the mind of individual thought. Training marines to perceive objectively would be tactically antithetical to policy.

Are you referring to the policies which require this, or the requirement itself?

In regards to the marines who are pro kill everything. The marines who I have talked to were in service during the initial invasion of Iraq, and then served another term after the conquest of Iraq. What bothers them is that they have to wait until they are fired on until they can return fire, which makes it difficult to do there job.
