Hexa
Does anyone else here suffer from New-Hookah depression where you worry about your hookah deterorating each time you use it?

Hookahs last for every, shisha doesnt, so like Im selling a possesion for temporary joy. 0.

cemab4y
A good hookah will last for many years, without "deteriorating". You must keep it clean, wash it thoroughly after use. Non-plastic hoses will have to be replaced over time, they are "expendable". I bought a hookah in Saudi Arabia in 1997, and it is still going strong. It will probably last a century. Snoopy1966
Exactaly, just like your car or house preventive maintainance is the key to have a piece to be around for a vey long time I am looking at some Syrian Hookahs now and I hope I am able to get one. The one I have my eye on is a beauty. Always use the gentle cleaners for the base. All I use is luke warm water and brush it out everyday. I clean the stem out after every use. The only thing I am worried about the Egyptian Hookah I have now is the top of the stem have seems to lose it's weld for a better lack of terms here. I will post up a pic soon to show you. I do not think it effects the Hookah for now, but I can see it becoming a problem in a couple of years as long as I take care of it. If it lasts for 2 or 3 more years I would say it was a good investment for $
