Guess Hookah Review

Recommended Posts

Guess hookah is an exquisite hookah bar in chicago by the wicker park area.

their website is   www.guesshookah.com

The Shop

The first most spectacular notable about this hookah bar is their
retail. Their prices for a local shop are, from what ive seen,
unbelievable. They sell fumari 100g tubs for $6.99 and every other
tobacco brand/flavor you can think of at very competitive prices. Boxes
of 3 kings are $12 and washable hoses only $13. But back to the
tobacco, its really something that must be seen, there were just too
many flavors to count.

havana, al fahker, nahkla, al waha, al amir, sultan, splash, fumari
(and coming soon... hookah-hookah) line the wall of the front room in
this awesome hookah bar.

They have seating for 20 people and excellent hookahs.

The Session:

Session prices are $8 ($4 for a reload) before 7 pm and $12 and
$6 for a reload after that. The smoking area has both surround sound
and video and has a very diverse selection of music videos to choose
from at request. Couches were comfy and the place has a very relaxed
atmosphere (the owner was chillin' and smoking mango in the other
room). The service during the session was both friendly and fantastic,
offering menus at request and keeping a close eye on the hookahs to
ensure they ran optimally.

They serve drinks and chips.

The smoking was perfect, thats all there is to it. I tried fumari watermelon and pina colada.

The Management:

The guy who runs the place knows his stuff, and has tons of experience
that spans many brands and probably years. He offered me
recommendations, contrasting and synonymous opinions compared to my own
on various brands and flavors, and wonderful small talk on both his bar
and various tobacco companies. The owner was friendly and a definite
fellow hookah enthusiast.

My review:

This place is where i will be doing my tobacco shopping and
dining from now on. I was incredibly impressed with what guess hookah
offers. This hookah bar is a definite "two hose up" and al waha "5
stars". I highly recommend if you are in the chicagoland area to check
it out.

I really wish there was a local cafe like this near me in the Sac area.
There are a few shops but none compare to guess hookah if you are
acurately describing them.

The only thing I'd be concerned about though is the 20 person capacity?
That seems kinda low for a hookah cafe. My local cafe can hole roughly
40-50 inside, and another 40 outside. But hey, if it works for them
than I guess thats cool. They must have their own reasons for whatever
they do right? :)

Thanks for the review. I found it very entertaining and detailed. Cheers!
