wow... i havent been on in a day or so and was really kinda surprised at this thread. if it says on the site the base screws on, then it screws on! if the review section in here says it screws on IT SCREWS ON! if you dont like it, thats your problem, review it in the review section! but when people try and possibly help you out and you blatantly are rude to them like that, you wont get much help from many other people.

Let me explain. AGAIN. I realize it was a screw on, I was AWARE of this. However I was NOT aware of the fact that the screw on was going to be a problem and after 2 uses the threads were pretty much destroyed. So far the only person who helped me out was gaia and it was mostly for tobacco uses. Please get your facts straight. Thanks.

if it got damaged after 2 uses, talk it out with the h-s crew, theyre pretty nice guys.

I didnt mean to come off as a dick, i was simply telling you why you didnt get alot of helpful responses.

Have you read any of the reviews here on the forum to see if anyone else was having this same problem?

Your biggest problem is that you acclimated inside, then took it outside. that knd of extreme temerature change will destroy a good smoke. since its wintertime, you should be ok with leaving it outside. i dont think any bugs or animals will get into it.

Also, its it known with the phunnel to overpack the bowl, and im sure the same it true about a standard bowl. by overpack i mean, before you put the foil on tip, the shisha is over the brim of the bowl and the foil probably wont end up perfectly flat. larger holes are petter fot Tangiers also.

As far as returnting the pipe is concerned, i dont know that they will return it since you have smoked out of it. you may be able to find another base that you like better, i think the acrylics will fit most other myas.

sorry, i fixed it. basicly im sayng since you're supposed ot overpack the phunnel, the same is probably true with normal bowls.

In one of your post you stated you want a hookah where the stem pushes into the base not something that screws in. I just assumed you didn't read the item description because you ordered a hookah with a stem that screws into the base. No reason for you to get your pants all wet.

Not trying to be a dick or anything but you should read the product description more carefully before you order. It clearly says:

acrylic base - the acrylic "silver" base features a convenient ribbed shaft that "screws into" the matching acrylic base making for a secure seal.

Just because I am disspleased with it does not mean I did not read the acrylic part. I DID read it. I did NOT realise it was going to be such a piece of shit. Perhaps you should rethink other peoples logic before you throw your ignorance out.
