EternalSoil
yes. and if its gets too harsh, try turning the piece upside down where the round part is touching the foil.
mathuv
hmm. i tried breaking it once and instead of 2 pieces it broke into 1 half and most of a half+a little chunk. damn bad coals. ill try again when i smoke next. i smoked for 3 hours straight today nd im tired. also i found that overfilling the bowl (to slightly above the rim) works for me. in the beginning i get really nice flavour but after 15 mins it all goes rather tastless (unless using mint) and a bit burnt...disadvantage of nakhla + quicklite

mathuv
ye i did, i think i just need to score more. this coal makes a huge pile of dust.... anyone else have the flavour problem or is it only with nakhla? at the end of the session the bowl would be pretty much spent, just a tiny bit damp at the bottom. its also a shallow, narrow bowl holds maybe 5-8 grams if even, much less i think. Cybersist
I do this technique a fair amount of the time when I want to relax.... Otherwise I just do the normal setup and play with it
everydayshisha
For the 40mm coal...I just put it one one side of the bowl and just move it every 15 mins. If signes of harsheness start to appear. i remove the coal, blow through the bowl from below, purge the hookah and put the coal on again.EAsy as that. (when Smoking Al Fakher of cource )

everydayshisha
Believe me it makes a huge difference. It 's a nice trick an egyptian guy who worked at the local lounge tought me. I cools down the shisha, unclogs the holes of the bowl, removes the ash from the holes of the foil and when you place it back on the hookah it smokes like a new bowl. When your session gets harsh try it. That guy taught me alot about hookahs. And another thing, irrelevant but from the same guy. When you use cold water you are sacrifizing flavour for thickness of smoke. Room temp water always tastes better.Cheers

They blow through the bowls here at a local lounge, and I started doing it after a friend of mine did it on my hookah. Only takes two seconds and its very worth it.
