garykainz
So I got some Tangiers Orange Soda a little while ago and I haven't gotten it to smoke right. (Don't at me and say "another one of these threads?" ) I followed Rayver's acclimation guide to the T, excpet for one small part. I feel asleep, and the tobacco got left out for about 7 hours... oops! I was just wondering if my failure of getting it to smoke right could be from this, or if I just need to keep trying to get the packing/smoking technique right. Anyone know? mathuv
if you think its too dry, try adding some honey. just dont fall asleep when youre lighting the coals
iamscott06
Its dry? Is that possible, sonofhert posted a pic a while back where he has some really really really dry looking tangiers then he mixed it up and it was as good as new Did you mix it up yet? garykainz
It's not really that dry, I was just wondering if being left out that long would hurt it. I stir it up really well before I pack a bowl
iamscott06
Before rayvers vid i acclimated mine for like 10 hours once or twice and it was fine.Edit: What snoopy said below is what i used to do, works great.
Snoopy1966
I like to put my Tangiers Shisha in an over sized glad container, that way all the juice stays in the container. I have left mine acclimate for over 12 hours this way. Just stir it up and it is all juicy again.
PhishPhood
Alot of people seem to have problems getting a good smoke out of tangiers (I've never tried, just going on what I read). Pack a bowl of something else the exact same way and see if you still have the problem. If that bowl smokes fine then its your technique with tangiers. MrMoodz
7 hours of acclimation for Tangiers shouldn't harm it.
clickhea
whered u get the tangiers from?
RayVer
make sure you mix it up well. I'm actually coming up with a new acclimation technique that will get posted on my website (maybe a video too)You'll notice one of the first steps is to stir up the tobacco. Canon
it took me a good month or so to perfect it, but now i have no problems smoking it, i even mix it with other types of tobacco to make awesome flavors.
