Muhammad
Hey all,Just been looking around for a new stove to light my coals with found it pretty hard to find a reasonably priced one online which is from the UK, came across this just now on ebay and was wondering whether it would do the job of burning my coals. IF anyone has found any better ones online then please let me know. Here It Is Edited December 29, 2007 by Muhammad

cohlineman
QUOTE (avtomat @ Dec 29 2007, 02:17 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Target has one, 13 bucks, works awesome. If i can find the link ill post, but search for it....I picked a nice heavy flat hot plate up at Wallyworld-mart for 19 and change. In the cold night air it will light calls up in about 5 to 10 min. Just don't experiment with a coil burner! Wha a mess.

EternalSoil
the hotplate kinds work great, but i think the coil ones would work much better...i settled for a hotplate because they didnt have the coil ones.
RayVer
+1a week ago I went shopping for a portable stove and at first I bought a 1000watt hot plate type and it sucked then I returned it and go a 750 watt coil type and it was awesome. Canon
got me a coil one for 7 bucks. works awesome only takes like 5 mins to warm up the coal
Snoopy1966
I settle for the hot plate because all the coil burners I found here were all very cheap and there was only like 3 rings of coils in about a 6 inch diameter. It is 18 degrees outside now and I had my coals ready in about 10 min.

Muhammad
thanks everyone yeh I'll see if I can get 1 with coils, but will need to find a site from the UK that has 1.
mathuv
only electric i've ever used was a hotplate and it did the job in around 7-9 mins, including the 2-3 mins it needed to warm up. I'd imagine a coil burner heat faster?
