MR Bubble
Hey guys. As promised, I'm doing the mystery Fakfahina since I have some good coals. As you may remember, I got this stuff from smoking-hookah.com. It is Fakfahina and says no flavor name. It has a picture of all tropical fruits on it. I've never seen it before. My Bright star coals weren't giving me a good smoke with anything, so I bagged this up for a day like today to try another review. All I can say is this is a buzz unlike I've had in several years! When you open the box, it is the most wonderful smell of fruits I've ever smelled. I couldn't believe this was Nakhla! My beloved Nakhla actually smelling good! The horror, the horror! The taste? I don't really know. I'm almost done with the bowl and still wondering what is dancing on my poor head here. Dudes, I'm several shades of buzzed. Holy crap.... Any way, the taste is kinda like..... uh, well..... I dunno. I think there is a lot of grape in the works. Not the EL BAsha floral crap, but a normal kind of grape base. I'm getting some peach thrown in the mix and an explosive mish-mash of other fruits and maybe berries, though nothing I can identify with certainty. One thing noticeable is a slight hint of mint. Not the urinal mint taste type of mint, but a slightly refreshing mint tone. Very interesting. Do not confuse this with the standard Nakhla mixed fruit. While this is weird, it is by no means nasty. It may have some "not so pleasant properties (like at first you start wondering what you have purchased) but it improves with the smoking. I kinda like it for the fact that I don't know if I like it. Make sense? Well, welcome to Bubble's play house. So just get over it. I have. Flavor: It's just too weird. I need some more of this. In case you haven't figured it out yet, I like the unusual. All kinds of mixed fruits and berries that I can't figure out with a base of grape and peach maybe? A hint of mint makes it interesting and slightly refreshing, but not disgusting, unlike most mixed fruits out there. Smoke density: I just watched that hookah set-up video by those two fellows (Bob and Doug MacKenzie) and got pumped about the hole pattern. So, I tried it. Well, a slight variation on it and the smoke I'm getting is mind-boggling! Buzz Factor: Do we need to go back into that? I almost crapped myself. No, it's not age. Remember the post from the guy who crapped himself whenever he smoked massell? That was when the forum was new. Just remember those old posts are gone. Too bad, because we had some funny stuff going on then. Adrock, Why? Nose-hitability: Almost lost one of my eyes. General feeling of wellness: I'm messed up. Satisfaction level: This may be one of the reasons I like it. I had full lung fulfillment. That means I felt like I was smoking and not sipping on a Shirley Temple. Overall, this is just too weird for most folks here. It's weird for me, but a likable weird. I wish I had more than a 50 gram box so I could slide some to the folks I think would get a bang out of it, like Nerv, Alen, or ZooJohnnyZetta, wherever he is. Maybe Mushrat would be able to help pick it apart. So, if I do get some more, I will gladly shoot some yall's way. Damn, I'm starting to not only talk like them here, but write like them. Did I mention the buzz? Overall a 7 perhaps, since you all seem to go for the numbering system. It gets a big gold-starred smiley face for being a mixed fruit without tasting like it came from the men's room. MR Bubble. "Take that brother, may it serve you well." MR Bubble
Brother's right. Fakfahina is an "exotic" line of Nakhla. Usually they have a named flavor like Fakfahina lemon or Fakfahina cappuccino, or... you get the flick. THIS, however is just Fakfahina. No specified flavor on the box. Mixed fruit is just a regular Nakhla flavor, so this is Fakfahina's version of an "exotic fruit I assume. MR Bubble

afrdzak
just FYI: Fakhfahina is also a Fumari brand flavor is their "red apple." It's one of my favorites of Fumari brand tobacco.

ZAP
I got some Fakhfakhina mixed fruit when I bought my Mya from Saudi Arabia over a year ago. I didn't really know how to pack bowls and so on then so I was never able to get successful smokes until I found this place. I still have it in a zip lock bag somewhere. I wonder if it is still smokeable. I might give it a try some time. All I know is that it did smell excellent.
