Recommended Posts

i've asked the hookah store where i baught it, i've searched on the mya website, i've searched here, and i cannot figure out what this hookah is called. when i post in the product review forums, i'd like to say what kind of hookah i am using, but i just don't know what kind it is other than it's a Mya and the base is made of glass.

here's what she looks like:

it looks like they took a mya vortex stem and stuck it on one of their crystal bases

It's the Mya Frost from southsmoke.com with the top half of the stem removed (divisible into 3 sections). that's hwo I have mine

here's the frost:
www.southsmoke.com/pd_the_frost.cfm

this seems to be the closest to what i have. i have the case, the extra parts to make it longer, but i do not have the ability to convert it to a 4-hose, i don't think.

also, i think it's just southsmoke.com that calls it the "Frost." The place where i baught the hookah calls it the "Tangiers hookah" because it's the style of hookah that they use in the lounge for Tangiers bowls only. I"m sure that southsmoke gets the Mya hookahs in parts (like my neighborhood hookah store does.) And then they assemble the parts to make a hookah and call it something.

but if people will know what i'm talking about when i say "frost," then i guess i may call it that. or i may just say that it has a "Collosus vase."

its a hybrid. i smoked out of hookahs that looked EXACTLY like that in a hookah bar in jacksonville. not a bad smoke they give either. good pick.

Edit one

to confirm it is a mya stem with bohemian glass. Edited by Canon

i wouldn't call that a bohemian base.. the bohemian myas have the frost look and suck balls while the base he is showing is actually one of myas solid bases

just call it a glass mya

guys, i know it's a Mya.... all of it. it's all made by mya. i've seen it all over the internet under different names.

i was just asking what i should call it in the forums for easy reference so that the average guy reading the forum would know what i'm talking about.

Thank you, Canon. yes, it is very nice. the only other hookah i've used was this Egyptian hand-made hookah that is such a pain to smoke/clean etc. this Mya is so much better. Edited by Dom

but if i just call it a "glass Mya," then people might wonder, "well how big is the base? how much fluid does it hold." like in the caugh-drops-in-the-vase thread, i was wanting to explain that 6 caugh drops worked pretty good, but that in a mini-mya or something like that it would be too strong, you know?

(i think i might just post a picture of my hookah in situations like that.)

I think Fern Gully is a cool name for a maroon/purple hookah!

Fine... Midnight Lotus Bloom.
