I played, and quit. I still pay and have an account for some unknown reason.

I quit because they kept raising the freaking level cap. As a casual player, I don't play that often. When I hit 58, they raised the cap to 70. When I started to level and hit 64, they announced they were raising it to 80.

No thanks.

Bye.

hey i was just wondering if anybody here plays WoW

I still have an account I keep active to screw around on, but I haven't really done much on it since April. I have a 70 druid on Doomhammer, 60 warrior on Aggramar, and a 40ish mage on Spinebreaker.

i played from jan 07 to sept 07. had a lvl 70 mage on archimonde with t4 set and t5 pieces. i was a crazy good dpser but wow almost destroyed my relationship.
raiding 5 nights a week is not healthy and the girlfriend was tired of it so i gave it up and went back to playing fps games and rts like c and c3

I tend to stay away from games that are potentially social life- threatening....

I play FEAR whenever I need to kill people...not to toot my own trumpet, but I am one of the better players.

Yeah, I was decked out in T2 and some random AQ and Nax drops before the expansion. The only reason I was able to keep that kind of schedule up was because I lived w/ my folks and only had to worry about keeping up with my freshman college classes. Once I moved out I couldn't fit the raiding in anymore. It's kind of funny, because my girlfriend at the time was becoming more and more addicted while I was weaning myself off of it. It actually got to the point where her need to be playing WoW 5-6 nights a week was making me feel kind of penciled in. Edited by Ralleac

Threadjack: Play tabula rasa, it's pretty much a sci-fi, third-person shooter-esque, WoW. I'm on my first week, seems like the game will last two months for me, a fun two months though.

WoW is much more in depth, but I think after I got the the level cap 60, back in the day, there was nothing left to do but improve my gear.

I have never heard the term "the Girlfriend" and "WoW" in the same paragraph.
