MrMoodz
The fiancée finally gave the green light for another hookah. When I saw Rayver's hookaholic anonymous video I was cracking up pretty hard! Do any of your significant others not understand how important hookah is to you?? Well last night we were out driving and she said Rob... I know you've been wanting another hookah and I think it's fine if you were to pick up a new one. I couldn't believe those words came out of her mouth! I'm going hookah shopping this week with Christmas money and I'm going to pick up a Khalil Mamoon or a Magdy Zidan hookah locally. I've heard a lot about the KM hookahs but not so much about the MZ. I know both brands are popular and seem reliable. If you were to go with a brand which one would it be?? Any feedback would be appreciated!
mushrat
The MZ's are made by the same people who used to make hookah Brothers hookahs, and they were known for quality pipes. I have one in fact.I'd say find the one that you liked the looks of most out of the 2 brands and go with that one... My $.

MechAnt
I just ordered an MZ! I've done lots of research on it and asked many times on how good it is. Brother Mushrat recommended it even! Can't wait for it to get here.A benefit of MZ over KM is that the MZ has cleaner welds and is nice and shiny. Much cheaper to boot (at least online). ZenSilk
MZ all the way. Better polished, MUCH better welds, sturdy, and less prone to rust.

Shady. But the pipes are gorgeous. If I ever find someone stateside that has the Perpetual River (MZ PRC), I am all over that.*Edit*Forgot... since I doubt I'll ever be able to find the Perpetual River here in the States, I am almost positive that my next pipe will be the white Pharaoh. But I was in Peoria this afternoon so I hit up Open Sesame at 35th ave and Greenway. I figured, I've been going there for 6 years so they got to hook something up. When I got there, right out of the corner of my eye I saw a few KM's standing tall and ready to go. I was at the store for about 45 minutes checking out their high grade hookahs... Well, Open Sesame hooked it up. I ended up going home with hookah in box for $71 (after tax). The hookah is almost identical to the blue KM Caravan hookah from hookahcompany. http://www.hookahcompany.com/blue_caravan_...h_2237_prd1.htmCheck the links for picks of the new piece.http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k111/MrMoodz/KMLion.jpghttp://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k111/MrMoodz/KMUpright.jpghttp://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k111/MrMoodz/KMHose.jpghttp://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k111/MrM...kingintheKM.jpghttp://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k111/MrM...erfectmatch.jpgI am very pleased with this hookah. It stands at 35" tall, pulls super easy, smokes great, and looks great!!!!!! I smoked 3 sessions of Tonic Raspberry Cheesecake, Starbuzz Fuzzy Navel, and Layalina Kiwi Strawberry.I'm finally at peace....
