matt
i hope this has not already been found out by someone on the forum, and if it has then I apologize as I have not been on here since the summer.many of us out there have funnell bowls and have experienced the slight disappointment that comes after the smoke when we lift the foil and see a layer of still wet tobacco underneath the charred portion. well i have found a solution. BEFORE packing the bowl, layer the bottom with foil and then proceed as normal. this should help trap heat and poss result in thicker smoke? i haven't had too many trials so maybe its something unique to what im using so please try it next time you smoke and let me know how it goes
Canon
scaliwag made a scali shisha saver out of wire mesh. also that doesnt happen to me too often, only when im done smoking before the bowl is.
Snoopy1966
Yup and if you pack it right all you gotta do is plop some more coals on. Thats what I do now. I use to have a hard time getting to to go again but I changed the way I pack Tangiers and I can smoke a Medium Phunnel with about 5 sets of coals(exoticas) not all at the same session. I have two Phunnel so you can have two dif falvors so you are not stuck with dumping taobaco that is not smoked.
