Responce To Thomas And His Great Deal

So does worldhookah stop doing business with anyone who reviews and rates them a 7/10 overall?

I'm with that gaia.plat guy on this one.

And after things like this, I think vendors should be able to post in their own review threads, addressing each problem, so as to give both sides of the equation.

well, now, just because a vendor is allowed to post a reply to a negativ ereview, doesn't mean it's gonna help, especially depending on the tone it takes, I just said they should have the right. If the vendor wants to make the situation worse by showing their arses...they are free to do that too....just more informationm for the general public. tongue.gif

(not saying they did, but if they happen to, that's their business as well)

eh..things are still pretty civil, besides people posting useless things like "chill out and smoke a bowl everyone." that really contributing to the discussion I tell ya.

I think basically thomas is a whiner.

he's comparing non-holiday shipping to holiday shipping. Shipping companies don't even work on Christmas. It's called a DAY OFF. They have familes too, you know.

Free coals came in 5 days. Umm.. that's pretty good if you ask me. He was sending out free coals to ANYONE who asked with EVERYTHING in his possession used to ship with.

AND THEN, i ordered before his site was complete, PM'd him asking if his site was complete, he said no, but i'm sending you the shisha anyways.... and it got to my house in 4 days from the day it shipped. It could have gotten here a year from now and i wouldn't have complained. Free Shisha.

Thomas is mistaken, that's what this is all about. He's mad about the time it takes the United States Postal Service to ship an item to him from Las Vegas. SO maybe he should whine about the USPS....? This has NOTHING to do with the vendor.

Neal is defending himself, as a vendor, against thomas FALSE accusation of him not shipping on time.

And thomas has no right to be butt hurt because it took a little while to get a QT shipped to his house, that's just pathetic. Give USPS a break man.

Atleast DVPG is actually posting in the forum. Think of this as a Customer review. Why can't Neal defend himself? It's perfectly fair. Edited by ZenSilk

+1 when I order something for free from abroad i usually forget about it until the day it arrives tongue.gif if it comes in less than 3 weeks im surprised. Free is free. Also, this topic is going a bit overboard..

I just wanted to stop by this Topic 1 more time.

I got a message that out of respect I will not post from Thomas. He did change the review after seeing that many people agreed that it was free shipping and also he was shipped the bussiest day of the year. I do not want this to become the way Vendors handle a bad review. He chose on his own to look at the post by the forum members and realized it was the biggest shipping day of the year at Usps.

Thomas was cool when we met him on line and I will be honest. He looked at what he said and did something many people wouldn`t, He said "sorry". Honestly many people post negative and never look back. This is not an ebay refernce where it adjust to how you do. Its one persons opinon and you know what it was his and by all means fair. I appreciate the fact we could post a responce to it.

Thomas in our book is an A+ person and we want to keep him as a customer. He understands he is on the other side of the country and it will take longer then many east coast dealers and thats all thats important to us is that customers understand we do our best and we love them as customers.

Any dealer reading this and don`t lie I am sure theres a few watching this for the outcome remeber 1 thing if you screw up take care of those customers. They are the life blood of not only our businesses but of these forums and should be treated as well as anyone that walks in your doors.

Thomas a personal thanks again for reflecting on the shipping dates. You did not need to make the change but you did and we would love to have more dealings with us if you can forgive us for this post also.

Since I am not sure how to Post a review for Thomas I will just say it here. Thomas is a great customer. If anyone is looking to trade with him consider us as his first public refernce for technicaly a trade.

I feel Thomas did his part and should not be shuned. He thought he got a bad beat. many people do not think about Christmas as a bad shipping time until they are stuck in the middle. Believe me I will post a warning about slow shipping close to any major Holidays. IE: Valentines day, My Birthday and Christmas.

I am not sure if I mentioned the shipping issue or not. If not I should have If I didn`t I dropped the ball on my end also. But 2 two major points. Thomas did not think about the impact of Holiday shipping ( and I may not have thought about it either) and more importantly he realized it after the fact and apologized.

And to address the person that said if I get a 7/10 from a customer. If I have a bad experience with someone rather it be a friend or a fast food chain I walk away. If I get cold food from a restraunt I don`t care if its free or not. I will not go back. I ate at the chinese buffet the second day it opened in my shopping center. I we will say did alot of sitting in a small romm for 3 days afterwards. Guess what I am not going back in there.


If someone has a bad experince with an online vendor I say give them a real shot to make it good. If they send you some rubber gromets you did not need to make up for lousey service then by all means 5/10 them and find another vendor.

I know theres alot of shops on line that want your business and will bend over backwards to get it. I am included in that. If we make a mistake call us up yell a little at me Not Holly but at me. I know it just feels good some days to scream at someone I can take it.

As for Thomas responding to this thread. I don`t see a need. I think his apology to us was way more then anything else needed. Thomas is a very stand up guy in our book and I look forward to sending him his flavor of the month on Monday.


Mush is there a way to lose the Key or should I find something else for everyone to talk about? lol

Oh and believe me there was that day back in March where I did not smoke hookah while driving and it was worthy of some chit chat. lol
