qasim Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Ive been doing shisha at the shop for a while now so decided to buy my own today, picked one up today for 25 quid plus 6 quid for nakhla mint tobacco....well i dont know the make or anything but ive set it all up and used self lite coals, let it burn then pulled n no luck, its completely not working like no smoke at allAny help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Seanij Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 is the valve completely closed off?have you got holes in the tin foil? is the water bubbling? do you have enough water? are the coals red hot or covering white hot ash.. is your pipe securly in? qasim Posted January 3, 2008 Author Share Posted January 3, 2008 Before i started i sucked on the hose and the water bubbled, covered the top and did it so it is all airtightThe water is also bubblying and theres also holes in the foil, i think i have enough water as i have to look from the bottom as the base isnt transparent, and the coal at start was covering white hot ash but i cleaned it off and was then red hotHow do i check valve?I can blow out of it but nothing excpet air Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

qasim Posted January 3, 2008 Author Share Posted January 3, 2008 wel i checked everything and its fine, the water is around 1 inch from tube, i got it to smoke at lsat but very liuttle and thin smoke, and no taste at all, just plain smoke, think ill go return it now, any recommendations on what i shoudl get? qasim Posted January 3, 2008 Author Share Posted January 3, 2008 Also thought it was the heat myself, as when it got really hot i could hear the tobacco kinda sizzling, but by that time the coal had broken up n gotten small, so should i use 2 pieces hten?
