Also thought it was the heat myself, as when it got really hot i could hear the tobacco kinda sizzling, but by that time the coal had broken up n gotten small, so should i use 2 pieces hten?

no harm in trying. you hearing a bubbling noise when you inhale right?

Sizzling is not a bad thing. My nahkla sizzles for the first few mins.

I would use 1 & 1/2 coals and a wind cover to really get it going, then lose the wind cover for the rest of the bowl until teh coals get a bit cooler.

can you explain the windcover as im new to this lol

basically its a part that goes over your bowl and rests on the tray, completely optional. it helps with heat as its normally made out of metal and keeps the heat in. you can improvise one by making a sort of "cage" round your bowl out of tinfoil. like a sort of hollow foil tower.

It's literally a steel type cover that goes over the bowl.

I use it really get my bowl going indoors, maybe 2/3 mins at the start of a bowl,
then lift it off and continue.

When the coals start getting cool again, maybe 30 mins into the bowl, put it back to keep the heat going.

Oh i see, ill try getting hold on one if i can, other than that do you thin the nakhla mint is any good? or is it strong at all?

Nahkla is a great tobacco.

When you pack the bowl I tend to pull the tobacco apart and then pack a lot of it into the bowl.
Don't be tight with it - Pack it good [Without over packing]

It's kinda of an art form... it just takes a little time to get it right with Nahkla. But don't lose hope!

wel ill see if i have time tomorrow to create a windcover n then will break up the tobacco in smaller pieces and heat with 2 coalsm after how long should it be ready when coal is on?

Start smoking it straight away.

You should see the clouds billowing up within 1-2mins. once i get a full smoke i take the wind cover off. You don't want to cook the hell out of the bowl.

And let us know if you get a result!!!
