My nahkla sizzles for the first few mins.I would use 1 & 1/2 coals and a wind cover to really get it going, then lose the wind cover for the rest of the bowl until teh coals get a bit cooler.JD
mathuv
QUOTE (qasim @ Jan 4 2008, 12:53 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yep i am matetry adding more heat. are you packing your bowl to the top? dont pack the shisha down. if you fill it to the top, dont squeeze down too hard with the foil, better to take some shisha out

mathuv
QUOTE (qasim @ Jan 4 2008, 12:57 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>can you explain the windcover as im new to this lolbasically its a part that goes over your bowl and rests on the tray, completely optional. it helps with heat as its normally made out of metal and keeps the heat in. you can improvise one by making a sort of "cage" round your bowl out of tinfoil. like a sort of hollow foil tower. When you pack the bowl I tend to pull the tobacco apart and then pack a lot of it into the bowl.Don't be tight with it - Pack it good [Without over packing]It's kinda of an art form... it just takes a little time to get it right with Nahkla. But don't lose hope!
mathuv
nakhla mint is strong but till you get your hands on a windcover, try make one out of foil like a sort of tower and see if that helps.
shisha fan
you have to pull nakhla apart in to little pieces, you cant just plop it into a bowl. and it needs alot of heat to get going.and nakhla mint is one my favorite flavors, especially when mixed with their lemon. You don't want to cook the hell out of the bowl. And let us know if you get a result!!!
