clickhea
from what i understand most people enjoy the flavors they are getting from their tonic.iam having an issue where i can taste the flavors but they are soooooooooooooooooo light, where if i diddnt know what i was smoking i probably wouldnt be able to tell you what it was.everything is as clean as it can get hookah/hose wiseis there anything else i should be checking?my hole configuration is just a bunch of random holes, and i pack the bowl the same way id pack starbuzz, very light pushed down slightly just so the tobacco isnt touching the foilwith 2 outa 3 pieces of exotica coals across from each other.. which brigns me to my next questiondoes this tobacco require tons of heat? cause the 2 coals really doesnt provide me with many clouds at all Edited January 3, 2008 by clickhea
iamscott06
What kind of bowl are you using? For some reason when i smoke my tonic i use my superchief and i start it out with a wind cover. Once I start getting them good clouds i pull the cover off and its good for the rest of the session. So my advice... try a windcover? lol

thecoalition
on all three tonic flavors i tried and am almost completely out ofi only had to use 1 3k 40mm and i was blowing storm clouds off of my tangiers medium phunnel.on the raspberry cheesecake i sometimes had to throw on an extra 1/3 to get it going but then took it off because it would start to burn

mushrat
i have found that the tonic takes a bit more heat than SB. More heat to maintain as well. The flavours I got, even the bad one, was definitly full flavoured.
MAKCuMG
So far, I've had Double Apple, Orange Cream, and Cosmopolitan Tonic. Best setup proved to be Tan. Funnel + Glass Mod, just like with SB. Two rows of holes around the circumference. 3 kings 40mm broken in two halves.Def. very forgiving as far a heat is concerned. Once up to good temperature (can take 2-10 minutes sometimes), theres plenty of smoke and flavor.Cosmo has a very distinct taste. You will either like it, or hate it with a passion. Smokes great.Orange Cream is a new favorite, out of everyone who has smoked it (4-5 people including me), we all really enjoyed it. Double Apple plain sucked. Felt like smoking plain Anise. No one like it. And I tried to like it. Was very hard to bring up to the right temperature. Just not pleasant to deal with at all. AF Double Apple is alot better in terms of flavor.
