Yeah DHL is pretty dumb.

My friend broke his cell phone and had to get a new one from the insurance company and DHL dropped off 2 packages one with his phone in it and one with a sidekick3. Then they tried to get him charged with mail fraud because he opened the other package too and his name wasnt on it. The cops came to his house and shit it was a pretty nutty situation for a while. It eventually got dropped thought but it was sure fucked up.

ive had three fedex orders, everyone I swear I miss all 3 attempts by about 15 min so I have had to drive about 45min to the nearest fedex pickup (Which by the way is like a freakin compound! I am pretty sure their guards have MP5ks!!!)

I wouldnt fuck with fedex, one time I had to call it in from one of the security booths and on the memory dial buttons there was like 2 holding rooms and about 10 security stations. I guess maybe this one is something important...

Usually while waiting for packages I put a note on the door saying "If nobody answers put it in garage and take this note as my signature" And sign the note. The garage door is right next to it and I leave the man door cracked open a bit.

They usually accept this and leave it in the garage =)

Dude, UPS and Fedex are still getting slammed. I wouldn't be surprised if USPS and even DHL are also.

No offense, but shut your fucking mouth. We've been pushing out shit like crazy for three weeks making sure people get their christmas shit on time, and I'd say we did a pretty damn good job down in Jacksonville. Our PD went 1/2500 + (1 misload in 2500 boxes loaded) for the entire time, which is about two months of constant hard work keeping our trucks caught up. I think I went 1 for 15kish, or so, and a friend of mine is 1/25k+, and if you think we shouldn't get any misloads, than I want to see you keep a truck that gets alot of shit like Tallahasse, the capital of Florida, that gets about 1,000 packages an hour caught up by yourself. Our best loaders can only do 600/hr on a excellent night. That doesn't even happen all the time.

Personally, if you don't like our service, than don't pay for it. Find your shit in your city, or drive the fucking 10 hours to go by a hookah in whatever-the-fuck-ville its located if you want it so bad (Not intended for the OP. I <3 Canon, and am sorry for the inconvience).

I wouldn't ship anything until after next week if I were you, because tonight we got slammed, and we'll still be getting alot of return to senders and other people shipping back stuff that broke, they didn't order, and/or resends that companies forgot to include in the first orders. Not only that, but people ship shipping supplies, and I've been getting a ton of that crap. We're also getting stuff that people didn't get a chance to send till after Christmas because we were closed and/or they didn't want to pay the extra for next day, so they waited until after and paid the regular price.

Our holiday calender isn't the same as yours. Its more than one day, so shut the hell up and know what you're talking about before you start slingin' names.

You would think so, but its not. People ship alot of valuable stuff, and UPS will except stuff up to a $50,000 value. Anything over, I want to say $2000 gets a special bag and is supposed to be loaded in a special place in the truck. Its also not handled by anyone but the high-value team, who walks it straight to the truck its going into next. They don't take any precuations to get stuff stolen. We get searched walking out of our building, and we're not allowed to have any electronics (Execpt for people who absolutly must need them for commucation), including cell phones, mp3 players, anything. i normally dont post things like that and i knew what i was doing when i did it.

i justified it as a personal attack on me that went unnoticed/unreported (i assume) for hours.

however, what i said was not a personal attack on anybody, nor did i say fedex sucks because they cant ship fast on christmas. i have justified my dislike for fedex else where.

also, just because i dont like a company does not mean that i have any bad feelings towards their employees.
