Sariél
I ordered a purge valve a while back for my QT (forgot from where) and looking at it, it seems very easy to replicate. It is just a standard hose output with a hole drilled in the side, with a screw in the tapped hole.Drop a ball bearing in the cone, then screw in a screw that is long enough to keep the ball from falling out.crappy cell phone pictures to follow.Or make a removable purgecork a la:http://www.hookahforum.com/index.php?showt...70&hl=purge

Geiseric
Yeah all the Mya auto-seals that I have come across look like that. Mya makes a real purge valve, though, that looks like your average one... kind of a that but cut in half with a mushroom shape at the end with holes underneath it. The Mya acrylic 2-hose at MNH has it.*edit* Oops... old post. Oh well. Edited January 18, 2008 by Geiseric
Scheetz
Well unfortunately you cannot purge a QT when you have 2 hose ports on it and both have auto seals.

I only use it with one hose since I find it more social and I just pulled the bearing out of the hose port I use. It allows me to blow back through it and purge through the other autoseal hose port
The Devils Playground
Okay if you are replacing or making a purge valve adapter hose port do this . Go to your Local High end bike shop not the local schwinn shop but the one that sells the top end stuff like Lightspeed ar Quintano Roo. They will have 1/4" Cromo Bearings for maye $0.25 if they charge at all and they will not rust or corode and will have nice weight to them If need to be one size down. But thats what we use here. Yea a friend here owns a bike shop of that calibur and he only has super nice cheap bearings. I just walk in and grab them like 20+ at a time. lol
