15' Hookah Anyone?

Recommended Posts

My friends and I were bored so we decided to make a 15' tall hookah. The base is a vase that I got at walmart. The stem is a 15' piece of PVC pipe. The gasket is some rubber thingy that's supposed to be used in the tank of a toilet (bought it new!!). The hoses are 3 10' hoses. The bowl sat atop the PVC pipe and fitted nicely. It's cold up here in NY in the winter so we used the weather to keep the base and downstem cold while we ran the long hoses into the sunroom. Smoking out of a nice cooled hookah in the comfortable climate of indoors is always nice. Surprisingly, this thing smokes like a beast (huge pulls, never harsh). Just bored and thought i'd share with you guys.

Well when I first got the PVC i gave it a good cleaning. Either way I know it's not really good for you, that's why it was more of a "wow we are really bored lets see if this can work" type deal. And it definitely did work. I have 9 other hookahs so I tend to stick to those for the everyday smoking. It's just a novelty piece I guess you could say. Plus it's a pain in the ass having to climb up on the roof to change the coals and pack that beast.

I'm from Newburgh, NY. About 45min-1hr out of the city. What about you?

(Does anyone know how to get the pictures into the post without them being attachments? I tried the adding image, and i hosted an image at www.imageshack.net and it still wasn't working)

If you're using Firefox (Which I assume you're not because you're asking in the first place) just right click on the picture and either go to 'View Image' and copy the url, or click' Copy Image Location' and post it in the [img]url{/img] tags.
