MonkeyBiz
Anyone know what the status on Al Fakher is? I heard they're having import problems, but there's some stuff I'd like to get. I'm running a bit low.

mushrat
Ali at H-S seemed to have some idea of what was going on when I got the last of the af esk apple from him. I'd say dropping him an e-mail would be a good start. Also JD said he may be headed up to dearborn, home of bnn, so he might be able to find out something. the hookah hitman
H-S is getting Al Fakher illegally. That is the problem. Get Al-Fakher at southsmoke.com and thehookah.com
uselessdreamer1
how are they getting it illegaly?
the hookah hitman
People sometimes buy it in the middle east, often from retailers, then smuggle it into the US instead of purchasing from the licensed US agent. It happens fairly often.
MR Bubble
Cool, may be better stuff instead of some export version. I'd buy it. MR Bubble
SMOKE~N~BUBBLZ
Hell yeah, In Australia they smuggle in loads of nakhla every so often and they dont pay teh tax on it. that means instead of paying $15(Aus) a tin, i pay $6-$10 a tin......i dont care how it got in teh country. I got exactly what I wanted and was very happy with the way they do business from A-Z. They also did not stick it to me extra on the shipping price which was a wopper, for $31.oo, but "Fumari.com" wanted to gouge me on shipping for $50.00 on a package of less weight. And that is besides the fact that they chare $7 per 100 grams for their chemically tasting shisha. Who orders 100 gram packs? At $7? "HookahCompanycom" is where I get Al-Fakher each time that I order, despite the fact that I check out the whole online market each time before I make another order. mushrat
As far as the H-S importing illegally..big deal. We all pay too much to our lovely government in taxes anyway, and it all goes to such lovely things as more no-bid contracts for Halliburton. So, hookah hitman, how do you know this is how they are getting their stuff?
ZAP
Is their any risks involved in 'smuggling' ma'assell from a country? What's the worst that could happen?
