BillySoCo7
Hey guys. I was bored the other day so I decided to mod one of my hookahs. I choose my tall Egyptian style hookah. It's about 40"-45" tall and I don't know exactly what kind it is because I got it from a small Egyptian shop in Brooklyn. I went to radioshack and bought 8 high intensity blue LED's for dirt cheap. I then drilled 8 holes in the lower of the 2 trays that the hookah has and placed 4 facing up and 4 facing down. I then wired them all together and wired them in parallel to 4 AA batteries that I hooked up in series with each other. Then whenever i wanted them on, i'd just attach both ends of the lights to the battery pack and it was good to go. I've taken it to many parties and let me tell you, chicks love LED's. It was a real head turner and pretty easy and cheap to do if you have some spare time.[/img][/img]

Bryantos
You might want to post this in a little more detail in the How-To Funhouse. This is a really good idea, and it looks really nice. I might do this to my egyptian. =D

BillySoCo7
Thanks guys. I'm glad you liked it. Only problem is that I did that a little while ago and it's not set up right now, I took it to a party and the wiring got all pulled apart by some A hole. I haven't gotten around to rewiring it. The LED's have some leads coming out of them already, and i had them close enough together that they were able to be connected right to each other with a sodering gun. I just put them in a circle, alternating whether they face up or face down. I'll try to get it rewired soon and I'll take pictures as i'm doing it so i can post an in depth how-to post. Thanks again guys.
PhishPhood
I added LED head/tail lights to a remote control car in highschool that I made for a technology project. Its surprisingly easy. I got a switch at radio shack and put that between the battery and one of the leads to shut it off and turn it on. It honestly isnt too tough and anyone who can do the smallest bit of soldering could handle it.Looks awesome though man. Great mod! I may do this with my pumpkin since its kinda crap already haha.
