EternalSoil
another reason why i dont like fedex!but they never make me sign for stuff.last time i got an order i got a sticky on my door that was like "this is certifying that this was left at your door...this qualifies as a signature..." and there was NOTHING written on it at all!completely fucking blank! ahwahoo2006
I have had horrible results from FedEx - a bunch of things I have ordered have been sent back because of their signature policy since they only deliver during work hours when, shockingly, I am at work. Their pickup hours are also during work hours. UPS at least has centers open until 7 or 8pm so you can pick them up later if you miss the delivery. zeppyrkr
i love fedex, only company which has delivered me stuff at like 10:00 am, lucky i was home and it was nice not waiting until 5 for ups.
JoeLipinski
the delievery time depends on who they have packages for and where you are on their route... I get my delivers from ups anywhere from 10:00 to 12:00... in fact I got hookah stuff today and it was delivered at 11:30... so now I am enjoying a nice bowl of tangiers cherry with exotic coals.. it's def. bitchin

SafeSearchOff
that is, most unfortunate.fedex seems to have alot of pricks on their payroll.my dad is a bit of a wine connoisseur and one day we were expecting something like a 23 case delivery. the fedex guy comes to my house, unloads it all and helps me bring it into my house, which is at the bottom of a huge hill from the street where he parked, and then was like oh yeah i need an ID. i was like im not 21 and im the only one home right now... since my parents, you know, have jobs. and he refused to leave the package. so he actually took the time to reload his truck with the cases and drove off. Bulldog_916
That's a law problem dude. You have to be 21 to purchase or sign for alcohol, you're dad knows that most likely.
Bryantos
Personally I think he was trying to keep his job over wanting to act like a prick. For all he knew, you could have drank half of it, your dad get home pissed and calls FedEx, they track it to his truck, and hes fired. He should have ID'd you before all the unloading, though. However, how did he know it was wine? I don't know how wine is shipped, but if it is in a regular brown box, then he has no idea what the hell is in there as far as I know. They're only notified if they have hazmats in there, I thought. Edited January 8, 2008 by Bryantos
Snoopy1966
I just checked my tracking number for my Sryian to arrive on Wed. It says it got to Hogkins IL tonight at 8:30I am about 180 miles or so away from there, that sucks it is just going to sit there for a day.....It could easliy get here tomorrow.UPS Ground must be backed up yet. I guess I cant complain about cheap shipping. It just sucks that it is so close to my home waiting to have a home.
Gold Wing Gunner
I hate fedex! I have had 3 orders from them and every one I have had to wait for 3 attempts before driving 45min out to the closest fedex pickup location! Its bull shit, I call their customer service and ask for them to just let me pick it up after the first attempt and they say they cant because that is against company policy, or I ask them to just leave it without a signiture, again againts company policy. One day the fedex guy was about 6 or 7 houses down my street when I got home and saw the tag on my door, so I drove up and he told me that he cannot give me the package now because it has already been marked as not delivered for the day.SHINANIGONZ! Perrj99
Ha. I used to work for FedEx Express. After 2 years there, my manager wouldn't let me take a leave of absense for educational reasons (study abroad) so I pretty much told 'em to take the job and shove it. So I'm glad to see all of this hate for FedEx. Fuck those mother fuckers.

racemyghost
same thing happened to me except fedex couldnt find my house. I got on the phone with the supervisor and after talking for about 20mins, he said they couldnt do anything. (this was friday) Then the next day, as im getting out of traffic school (ya,i know) i got a call on my cell. Its the fedex dude coming to drop off my hookah on his day off!!! I was so excited.
