For those who have been here long enough you might remember with Nuchultz decided to do this little skye based conference with Eric, the lovely creator of Tangiers. It was an awesome night, the chat was full (almost killed my server at the time) and we talked for hours and had some good laughs, and good times. And we learned a bit about the man who makes that baccy.

SO i was thinking, with a few peoples heres help, and maybe a few ideas on who to chat with next, what about having a new series of teleconferences the same way that Nunu did? I can do all the technical set up, but im so not being the main host who has to do most of the talking and asking questions tongue.gif Like the last one we can use the chat to field questions for whoever we have that night, and also for just chatting about what they say. Anyone with a phone or skype could join in and listen for free.

Im finally about to be getting back into smoking daily, and when i do ill be back into the community full force biggrin.gif i couldn't while i wasn't cause it just hurt sitting here looking and listening to this all XD plus those few problems i had... yea XD So i figure get this started while im on my way to regaining my hookah collection and knowledge.

Now if this sounds like a good idea and enough people are interested in helping, here is what we need:

- A group to come up with questions. We would need to come up with a list of base questions to ask each person during that night. Of course just a small list, the rest of the questions can come from anyone in the chat during set times.


Every time i talk about this around newer people they would love to have one, and anyone who was there would love to do it again. I think this could be an awesome regular thing, and even turn into just an awesome source for info on hookahs and things of that nature.

I know the last major hookah project i was in fell through (some might remember the hookah magazine thing...) but that had a few things killing it off. With this i think there would be enough interest, and if enough people decided to help (wouldn't cost you anything but your time) then we could really get this going. Or we can just forget i made this thread and move on tongue.gif

Yea im a web designer as well (did mnhookahs website). Just the host i have now might not handle a podcast that well. Just got average shared hosting. Works for my site. But help with hosting and setting up a site for this would rock. Chat for it would still be done on hookahforumchat.com as that is a fairly well known chat and has been used by quite a few forums.

But any help, especially hosting would be much appreciated. PM me and ill give ya some info on me so we can talk outside the forums. After the recent e-mail thingy i dont want to give it out publicly anymore XD

The only thing that pissed me off about the tangiers interview is that no one made it available
for anyone who could not be there at the time.

I realise Europe has little impact on most of the people who would be interviewed, but it would still be very interesting for us to be able to download and listen... if we can't be up at 2am.

Just a thought if this gets pushed forward into fruition

And I'd be more than willing to help out!

i agree with JD on this also.

while, i may be on here alot, its not always the best time and it varies from day to day.

soemthing that we could download and watch would be really neat!

See it was supposed to be recorded and online later, but that was up to nunu. See with this one as i said i would make every one of them into a podcast, so no matter what everyone would be able to listen in biggrin.gif
