Whatcha Smoking Right Now?

Recommended Posts

Al Fakher Grape in a Bambino, exotica coals and cranberry juice with blue Curacao as a base.

Snoopy: any tips for setting up and managing the F-Line cocoa? I've had no problems with K Peach, F-Line Red Tea or Blueberry, but I've had some trouble getting thick smoke from the cocoa that isn't harsh, without frequent purging.

I only have the cocoa and not the F-line, but I found you must be very careful with the heat management with the cocoa. I am using lemmonwood coals now. They work pretty good because they give good heat but not to much. Ql's you have to be very careful with because they get hot first off. I had to take them off for a little while so I didn't burn the tobacco. I am getting some pretty decent smoke now. It kicked my butt the first 15 minutes. I find I must purge a lot also for the cocoa. It is the best chocolate tobacco I have tasted.

Do you think Romman mint would work with the cocoa? I am just thinking about that because I can pick up a 50 gram box at my local shop. They do have Tangiers spearmint, never tried it though. I am not sure if that would be a good mint taste with the cocoa?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not alone in having difficulty with the cocoa ~ I agree, it's the best chocolate flavour out there. Have you ever used Exoticas with it? The next time I smoke it I'm going to try to break a piece into splinters with a hammer or some such, and try those to start it off with very little heat.

Romman mint should go well with it ~
