uglycustoomer
Is it me or am I just obsessed with how smoke looks? After viewing “codename067” videos, which I believe he is also a member on this board, on youtube, I have been trying to figure out how do you get such amazing smoke. I bought a mya vortex, mya gyro, and KM and they all smoke amazing, but nothing compared to those videos. Now when looking on the forum and reading how a Syrian smokes amazing, how a MZ smokes amazing etc.. I’m always wondering what are peoples standards cause it drives me crazy hearing how amazing some pipes smoke but it is really that much of a difference? I just want to have a pipe that I am truly satisfied with and wish there was a site out there that compares a hookah side-by-side i.e. Syrian vs. KM I’m always looking for my next hookah while one is in the mail, maybe I’m just o.c.d. austinthecity
He might have a phunnel bowl... I see that he poked one large hole in the middle of the foil.I can't tell from the vid quality if it's phunnel or not, but phunnel with 4 coals will definitely get some heavy thick smoke.. uglycustoomer
oh no no, don't get me wrong, my smoke is really really thick and good, better than most that i have seen. I use a funnel with 4 coals, i know how to pack a bowl and everything, no worries, but i can't compare to the videos and it drives me crazy, hah
Luke69
Im pretty sure its all about heat management and the brand and flavour of shisha, not so much about the hookah.
MechAnt
I'd have to say that hose makes a difference as well. Sounds a little bit far fetched but it really does make a difference. I compared the stock hose of my MZ to my Nammor and there is a HUGE difference in easiness of draw and amount of smoke/density with similar draw. In regards to people saying "My KM/MZ/MYA smokes amazing!", its more in regards to the easiness of draw and the smoke quality as opposed to density itself. The right tobacco, heat management, and setup all contribute to intensely dense smoke.
Bryantos
For some reason I thought my hookahs havn't been getting alot of smoke, and then I started smoking with some other people who were smoking out of my hookah, and they were getting huge pulls.Turns out smoke doesn't look as thick (to me at least), when its coming out of your mouth. Then I took a hit and looked in a reflection off a window, and I was getting thick, beastly storm clouds.Maybe its just your point of view? But then when I smoke it with my other friends (with the same flav and brand) it looks like their getting great, thick clouds.
