Ralleac
Well, it arrived when they said they would, and I'm pleased with it. I'm getting some tangiers in tomorrow that I can use in the phunnel, but for now I'm probably going to wake my roommate up and test out this hookah. EvansLight
ya know what that is actually quite nice. Makes me miss my friend with an ice chamber.
MrMoodz
Congrats on your new piece. Your hookah collection is coming along quite nicely!
Ralleac
Yeah, I'm done with buying new ones for a while, though. The KM, Syrian, and QT should keep me set for a long time. The ice chamber is pretty nice. The weld marks inside of it are extremely obvious, but it isn't that big of a deal since no one ever gets to see that. I put ice in the base as well, and the smoke actually tasted cold. Congrats! Looks like a solid rig! Then again, it IS a Social Smoke Syrian, so that pretty much goes without saying!Well, I could see myself buying another one in 5-6 months or so. Right now I still owe my ferret a playmate and a bigger cage, which will cost me somewhere around $200-250 depending on whether or not I adopt a ferret from a shelter or get a kit from a pet store. The cage I have in mind is about $150 with shipping, and ferrets can cost anywhere from 30-100+ to adopt.I have like 7 hookahs in my apartment right now, but one belongs to my friend, and I'm giving 3 others away to friends. When all is said and done I'll just have the KM, the Syrian, and the QT until something breaks or I get the urge to buy a new one. adamjames
Awesome pipe! The stem looks very similar to the Syrian Chiller I got from H-S and the ash tray looks virtually identical. I also found that mine had very rough welds inside of the ice chamber but as you mentioned it isn't a big deal since you don't see that part anyways. Is the stem very heavy? I know the SS website stated it was a brass pipe. My H-S pipe is pretty light since it's made of stainless steel. I'll post some pics of mine shortly and maybe do a little review. Have fun smoking your new pipe Edited January 10, 2008 by adamjames
