Is It A Km?

Recommended Posts

So I purchased this hookah from a small Egyptian shop in Brooklyn, NY a while back. It cost me $150 and the owner of the shop said that it was made by people she knew back in Egypt. Now I never really looked into where it was made or anything but lately i've been seeing alot of posts about KM hookahs and how good they are. I'm planning on buying a KM in about 2 weeks. Then i got to thinking how similar my 45" hookah from Brooklyn looked to the KM styled hookahs. The base in the pictures is not the original base. I purchased it with an egyptian base, but it broke and I had this extra one laying around. The neck of the hookah has a very similar design though. I think I bought it about 1-2 years ago. There are no KM markings on the hookah though so i'm thinking it's just a coincidence. Your thoughts?

ps. This thing is the best smoking hookah I have ever used.

Nice piece, although I do agree with you. If it was KM it would prob have some marking. The ones I've seen (just from online so I may be wrong) have the Khalil Mammoon stamp on the tray and on the pattern of the vase.

Still a great lookin hookah though for sure.

I'll bet codename067 can tell ya more Edited by PhishPhood

Theres 1 sure fire way to tell a KM and I got this from the sole KM importer to the US........It has Khalil Mamoon in arabic writing near the hose port. Now, I dont know about you but I cant read Arabic personally but I havent seen any other company stamp their name near the hose port. So take a gander and tell us what you see.
